 Revise Quantum Firewall Traps

I was talking to Gator recently about how useless these traps are and people only put them on out of spite basically. They literally do nothing to protect the person who puts the trap on. The person has to be successful in hacking you for it to trigger which is just well pointless in my opinion.

My adjustment is simple enough.
When triggered the hack is unsuccessful, drops the cloak and they counter hack 100% of the time the trap is triggered. It actually acts as a firewall and prevents the hack.

Unsuccessful hacks can continue to have the chance of counter hacks and same with critical hacks.

i reckon it would be better to have them function more like a halcyon and cause the hack to fail and prevent hacking for 2 hours same restrictions to hostile actions

No I think making them prevent a hack would make a lot of sense and like you said Littlefluffy it would give them a purpose other than a null waste.

no, make it so u hack some one, then that person cant be hackd would real stop hacking, Unless u make it a passive arty like the halc.

Going to be BS when u get hacked 30 times by a guy who is online all the time and he fire walls over and over again leaving you nothing to do .
