 Npcing IS NOT affected by effective traps!

So i ran out of nulls today and i couldn't pvp nor npc for 30mins. So i think that npc shall not be affected by traps like krionus or hallows banes traps because, Pvp and npc are different things so if you get effects from npc it doesn't affect Pvp, Pvp effects don't affect npc.

What do you think?

Why PvP if you know you have no null fuse and wanting to NPC after? NPC = more trap probes before you hit a ship.

Well, on the surface, this idea looks palatable, but if you start thinking about it, you'll realize there no real need for it, and further, implementing this, would remove Dans attention from other, more important things, so i would have to say no.

The traps affect your ship as a whole, so yes they should affect NPCing, and there's absolutely no reason whatsoever it should be changed.

Set off a kv and want to npc? Make sure you have some nulls to spare. Going to kill enemy ships after getting debuffed by npc's? Use a containment cage or wait for the debuff to wear off.

oh can we add that emps dont affect me while im hitting bases? i recently stole a planet from the same legion we locked and now ive ran out of cages. Base battles and pvp are different things so if i get hit with an emp it shouldnt affect battling bases. and remote intrusion shouldnt affect pvp.

Then what good would containment cages be for, other than making ct lab items? Demand for them would go down A LOT, making them much harder to sell. And they would sell for a much lower price.

Another thing is that it's fun to spam enemies with arts during war. Also, many players on my bt have max scan mods, and i can only hack them using a quantum flare, even though I have max cloak mods installed.

Also, what about positron clouders, emp's, disarming bombs, RECONDITE INTRUDERS, and nfx virus infection?

Traps are supposed to deter you from attacking other ships. The fact that the KVT effects everything related to attacking so long as you don't have a null fuse makes it a good deterrent.

It's fine as it is.
