kvt is very common in the game and many people once they hit rank 10 in a large legion already know about them. kvt what kvt... QFT what QFT? p.s. qft=Quantum firewall trap

lest keep in mind this is a 20-30sec cool down time, and u still have halcs. This just forces u to fight a bit .

Like pvp isn't already neutered enough...

The KVTs are fine. If you don't want to run into trap after trap don't go for the disable!

people should really listen to that advice. I go through about 50 kvts per week when someone catches me online after I just badged them.

same i just used 16 of them defending myself from a guy we stole a planet from. rank 300+.

Either way, once you log out you'll get disabled. The Cooldown won't really help the situation where you're on their log. Stay down for 1 day without PvP and use a halc to aviod the next 24hour being zero'd. Yeah I get the purpose about the PvP situation, but still won't help the defender due to your ship having a greater amount of attack to easily disable the enemy ship. It may help revive the PvP but KvT Spamming isn't just the only way to defend yourself, there's buff/de-buffs and Repair Nano's to spam.

If people are spamming repair nanos to keep from getting disabled, shouldn't they have a limit as well?
What about the de-buffs? 20 seconds for them too? To prevent spamming?

i must also -1 this MLP. if someone has a massiveness of 160k 20 second cooldown wont affect them AT ALL but it will affect the little guys. essentually this idea makes the strong stronger and the weak less capable of defending themselves.

going off of this logic... firewalls and omicrons as well as halcs grav traps and alarm sentries should all be non sendable as well... anyone else notice a problem if this were to happen?

I think thats basically why we have the KVT's. They are an "underdogs" only chance of defending him- or herself, against a cowardly mass-attack from a whole legion, if you dont have the halc's available, which, lets face it, if you've been alerted, you probably don't.
And if the planet is fluxed, odds are its not already alerted, unless you recently took it, and alerted it to brag, or for guarding help, so you wont have a chance to take it back anyway, and, if it is alerted, you will have your whole legion to help you knock of the defenders.
It's -1 from me.
Oh, and on a more personal note, please, please learn proper grammar... some of your posts are painful to read.

People have a right to defend their ships -1 to this idea.
If you dont want to feel the effects of this trap then dont attack, if your prepared to PvP then be prepared for the consequences.
Sorry soul but your always telling people to man up etc when it comes to PvP, you have just shown a bit of weakness on your behalf!
