forgot to add in Xcells, gaining less of those then brackets oddly, but they still add up, over 1K in the last month.

They are one of the best PvP legions in the game. PS Combat rep is worthless. Enjoy I don't slow rank, never have. But slow ranking does have its merit. And, it is worth pointing out that with enough energy and artifacts, lower ranks can easily bring down higher ranks (something they complain about often). I have seen it over and over again. Artifact spam levels the playing field. Why should I race to 1000 rank, when I can bomb you back to effectively being rank 200? On top of that, the lower rank gains badges from the encounter that the higher rank does not. The only way the higher rank "wins" is through a war of attrition. The little guy has less production and will simply run out of gear. Bombs and Emp Spheres can be easily replaced by purchasing them, nulls not so much.

I really just don't get the attraction of freeze ranking. Slow ranking, I understand. Especially if you have a respectable artifact production with which you're getting a decent amount of ship building artifacts. Freeze ranking, not so much. So you freeze rank at 100. Ok, so you get 2 of each shipbuilder per day with a good AP base payout. Wow, after a month or 3 you'll be the kickassedest strongest damn rank 100 around. Then you PvP. With a higher disparity between your strength and your targets strength, you'll get a higher xp return, ranking you up a bit faster. Then you end up seeing progressively stronger ships and lose your "advantage." Since they ranked "normally" they will have comparable stats, but with higher AP for a longer period and higher energy. You might spend most of your energy bar, which is short to begin with do to freeze ranking, just to get one kill, while their bar will allow them to kill you 3, 4, or more times.

I agree, if you are going to ask for advice, and someone uses his/her time to give you some help, at least have the decency to show respect, instead of disregarding their advice and basically insulting them.

Might be a bit late, but I'll say it myself. Freeze ranking is not the way to go if you wanna get to the top. I do my eccentric freeze rankings along with guys like Strm and the lot for the sake of enjoying ourselves, in our own way. From your hot-headed comments, you will find it the most boring thing ever to do. Freeze ranking is inefficient, inconvenient, and painfully slow. I just do it because I find it entertaining, in my own way.

IMO it ruins the early game where you can PvP, Base, Npc, such and such (The fun things). On mid-late game though, that's when it's the perfect time to slow/freeze rank due to having a poor late game content (Dan ). I pace myself normally, and I can say that I have an above avg ship than the other slow/ranking ranking ships not one full slow/freeze rank pace. Heh. I tried freeze ranking myself, since I was out of the country and did not have the time to do much else than collect shipments, and dump resources. With a month out of the country, I had +8s done, planetary shields finished, and plenty of other stuff that would keep me ahead. This has allowed me to stay ahead of the game in my recent rank ups from PvPing, but might have been counter-productive, considering what else I could have done during that same amount of time. I most certainly could not out last more than two weeks of the type of boredom (since I tried it for an extra week after my return). This is why it is most difficult in my opinion. I froze at rank 1 after I reset, for a month, and it was awful. To do absolutely nothing but collect resources, then dump them, plus at rank 1 you see nobody on the BT, so no chance of getting blues or yellows. So I spent most of my energy leaving comms on ships in my legion. Not fun at all to freeze rank, though slow ranking is not a bad idea, does about the same as freeze ranking, and you don't suffer as much from lack of planets.

Getting a plasma with the addition of a research base pushes you along very nicely, and right now, after switching to an AP base, I am still doing well with only a few research planets. Expanding into artifact production will be needed as well, though. While hacking and raiding, I would just spend the waiting time on some other game, or occupy myself on something else.

I think freeze ranking is incredibly important and everyone should do it for about 8 hours each night...

the only good thing about freeze ranking is at low ranks for really easy badges like 1x DP use then hack till you run out of TMs or get bored whilst research good attack and hull then when you have all the blue's for the battle market mods and upgrades you want you then move onto reds and yellows for the same thing, once you got your mods then its time to speed rank to 100 and get all those nice mods installed and upgraded then i think the best way is to only do 4 ranks every time you need a planet slot for a GOOD planet unless your not so picky as you can upgrade or abandon them later, if so then rank as fast as you like
