do you have a load of planets that you just cant be bothered to put the latest modules you researched on?
there should be an option to replace the structure say if you have 5orbital minefields on your panet there should be upgrade attack mods upgrade defense mods upgrade cloak mods upgrade research mods upgrade artifact mods upgrade mining mods what do you guys think?

if a planet isn't worth doing it manually, it isn't usually worth doing at all.

Your orbital minefields are upgrade-able via research (ie)
Orbital Minefield
Ion Minefield
Plasma Minefield
Phase Minefield
Graviton Minefield
Disruption Minefield
Quantum Minefield
Singularity Minefield
Antimatter Minefield
Null Minefield
Thetacron Rift Field
Quasi-Chaos Minefield

The research balances out the need to upgrade a "small" product into something larger, and more deadly.

Eh, I can see some validity in an 'upgrade' button next to demolish.

Click upgrade on a mine and only the mine choices come up, even if at the normal price, not a cheaper price.

Right now, you have to:
1) Find the item to upgrade
2) Click demolish
3) Click accept
4) Click build
5) Find the item in the longer build list
6) Click Build

Upgrade button:
1) Find the item to upgrade
2) Click Upgrade
3) Find the item in the shorter build list
4) Click Build

Great upgrade to the game, no. Useful for long term, yes.

Which would only really work for Shields and Minefields. Production, population, and cloak structures all increase in size as they advance, so you'd have to manually demolish other stuff to make room for upgrading anyway.

That's a fair point. I still think it should be on the nice to have list, just lower down the line. It would work for other things but you are right, you'd have to have the space to upgrade them. It would still save some clicks, just not as many as planetary attack/defense which are all the same size.

under production it will have tabs if i have 3orbital minefields and i want to upgrade them all i do is click the upgrade attack modules and it will upgrade to whichever attack module you choose you also choose the quantity to upgrade so it save a bit of money as well because you dont buy minerals so afterwards you dont have to scrap anything for less money

You still haven't answered my question. Why are you moaning about having so many planets you can't be bothered to put mods on them when you are only rank 28?
