It is not a bad idea, but something about it I just don't care for. Sorry, -1
Though I do like the idea of "allied" support. So far, the only real way that has been incorporated into the game is with the base disables. It might be cool if it really meant something to say that we have xyz legions in our allied force; and thus we can scan share planets or protect from invasions. But, then again, if we are going to say that, we might as well allow allied alerts for pvp--- and that is exactly what Dan was getting away from when he went from 300 man legions to the 50 ship legions.
