Just a quick question to the universe at the moment.

Currently attacking a base - maxed level 7, with 2 Aerlen. Thats 56k defence roughly.

I have 50k attack vs bases at the moment.

I am dealing roughly 130k damage per ten minutes (till my fingers get tired and it drops off)

Can anyone with roughly the same level of attack tell me their damage figures?
Or heck, anyone, lets make up a comparison. How much damage does different attack scores do vs that much base defence?

Ths basically the information im after, lol.

I am in australia - lag is basically our bane.
Im on ADSL2+ extreme blah blah, which is basically the best standard net you can get around here. Pc speed isnt an issue, im running something.. more than adequate :P

its just im increasinglu seeing people with half my attack match me on base fights, and im starting to wonder exactly how much of a disadvantage am i at because of my country?

Good luck with that base ;)

it dosnt matters what kinda connection you have, it all boils down at WHAT speed you can ping/connect to server it self...
i am on optics, my WiFi card now caps at 300Mb's... but i cant get my damage speed nowhere near the guy who has lot lower speed BUT has better access to server...
we actually compared few times... i have higher attack... he easly doubles out my damage in no time... i just cant ping that quick as he can...

You would average around 110 damage / hit I believe, and my data suggests you could do about 5M or more in such a Base battle.

Weird, your numbers come out pretty good, despite having a bad connection. My numbers might be off, then.

What this guy said... If your hop takes you through Singapore (Optus does, I believe), your ping time could literally be x10 what your North American legionmates enjoy. The quarter second difference per hit will make a big difference on your total damage on a heavy base. I have seen guys with a few thousand less attack triple my damage on a drawn out base.

All the chest-thumping on the forum about who can kill which base is pretty uninformed -- most players don't realize how big an impact ping times have on base combat.

When you do something on the internet, tiny little elves carry your orders through the wires. However, elves can suffer from a crippling disease called Poly-Immuno Nuero Gyronecrosis, or PING. This disease affects numerous nervous-system pathways in the ear. The nerves die and begin to decay, meaning a loss of both your hearing and balance from the small water-filled spaces in your ear (and elves ears). Due to this, elves lose their balance extremely easily. Most PING-positive elves cannot travel through densely-connected networks (eg. in Singapore), and take a lot longer to traverse substantial distances.

This year, won't you please donate to the PING-Organized Operation (POO), to help us find a cure, and help the countless lives lost to PING.

This year, become a POOer.
