EVE Online already lets players make such bios. It would be nice for us to have.

I can't see many people wanting to type one hundred words about themselves, let alone 500 or 1000 (and I see half as many wanting to actually read them).

theres that reason to -1 it and then theres the fact that you seem to think that just cause another game has a feature then GL should also have it.

Ironically, i actually see a little potential in this one.

Just ignore the fact that he says "EVE HAS IT" all the time.

This has partly been rectified by having "titles" but i always felt we lacked a little bit of a personal touch.
One of my fondest games was a text based one, and each charachter had a short, one line "Warcry"

I always wished i could have a short motto under my ingame name.

Normally I would say its not worth dan's time, but I could only assume that such an addition would take very minimal time and effort - a text box editable by the ship owner.

The only negative i can think of is inappropriate comments. Edit: That is a big problem, i realise. But perhaps giving the ability to choose if you want to "view" motto's or not in your seetings box would help?

Having a short text box simalar to the Legion Description could be nice, if's it's not abused.

I see a problem with it in the sence of, lets say you have a player with very good cloak and you can't see their modules at all. If the ship description says they are a mission-based player, you can pretty much assume it's going to be an easiler killl than someone who claims to PvP alot. (Of course the number of PvP kills should tell you that anyways)

I'm not sure how hard it would be to add, probably somewhere in the Settings on the ship tab.

I'm not sure i would use the function if it was added. i'll give it a +0. I don't dislike the idea, i just can't fully support Dan wasting time on something thats not tech new content.

I'll also say that your trend of almost every idea you post coming from Eve Online is getting old, can't you think for yourself? At least the ideas i come up with that most ppl dislike are at least my own orginal ideas.

These are the sort of ideas that are actually wanted by us (the player). I've seen so many small game changes that would make the game a little better mentioned in the Suggs part of the forum, all have high amounts of +1s usually from high rankers and long standing players.
Yes we (players) want some nice new shiny big content too but the implementation of these small ideas would also make people feel listened to and understood.
