Everyone knows that the base contributor list does not factor in the discrepancies in the values of energy, CTP, and EM. The ideal fix would be to have a formula for converting them to equal values, and also a method to see how much has been donated in the past week. However, i understand that these might clutter the page and would not be liked by all. My simple solution is to add drop-down arrows to the base contributor list. Simply allow for a user to choose which criteria is used to view the list, like is in use for planets and artifacts. Again, this is only an idea, but i think it is a good one.

The "discrepancies" between the values of Energy, CTP and EM are PLAYER DEFINED. There is no game enforced "conversion" factor. Your personal CTP to EM ratio can be quite a bit different from mine. And both of ours can be different from someone else's.

Just set your base payout to equal shares and then you don't have to worry about the contributor list.

Yeah... Misread your signature to say that you were the worst thread that no one saw coming.

With that in mind, most legions concerned with contribution percentage place a limit on donating exotic material; usually no more than the total of the energy and CTP you've put in. Keeps folks from dominating payouts with easily acquired exotic material and encourages donation of the other stuff.

Considering that base upgrades take a ratio of EM:Energy:CTP, it couldn't hurt to use that as a more favorable weight on contributions, however, it isn't really necessary.

The EM:En:CTP ratio isn't consistent though. Gaining each level is different.

You could take an average across the levels.

Heh... Assuming the level 5 CTP requirement of 5000 is actually 15000 (5000 just makes no sense), the average ratio of EM:CTP is 24.87 EM per CTP. Wouldn't that make CTP sellers happy... :D

Level 4>5 = 5k
Level 5>6 = 40k

If gaining level 5 is only 5000 ctp, two things...

(1) It makes the average ratio over levels 1-9 25 EM per CTP which is barely any difference.
(2) Dan was smoking something when he set the thresholds.
