Galactis, Stryll StarFort
A multi-purpose station designed to hold high value prisoners, while allowing for development of new technology. Destroying this would cause significant set backs to the order.
Extremely rare Boss fortress rewards the top 20 damagers, shareable to ranks 500 to 3000
Shield : 1,000,000 Hull : 1,000,000 Attack : 15,000 Defence : 17,500 expires in 2 days, has a chance of triggering the heavy stryll disruption (-40% defence for a while like the graxis). 100 xp on the kill.
Rewards : Rescued Stryll Prisoners, Stryll Composite Hull, Interrogation Fortress or Stryll Upgrade Blueprints
Rescued Stryll prisoners - same as before, grants 6 rank points Stryll Composite Hull - A new hull design that incorporates basic cloaking technology Module, size 15, +500 hull, +60 cloak. Max of 4 per ship. Interrogation Fortress - Planet building, size 1, +4 research, +500 defence. limit 1 per planet (same as the stronghold/center). Stryll Upgrade Blueprints - Partially intact schematics concerning updates to some of the older Stryll technology. Improves one random Stryll Module on your ship, improving its fixed stats by 25% and its upkeep by 25%,to a maximum bonus of 100% per module. (these include - Stryll prey tracker/hunt sensor, stryll transponder, stryll confinement chamber, stryll composite hull).
Any thoughts/feedback on this?

Lose the planet structure. High ranks don't really need more research. On the other hand, maybe having a crap drop would be fine. Aside from that, sounds good. Not sure about 20 slots though. There aren't all that many legions yet that have 20+ players at rank 500+

If you have 20 people >500, it would be 15 slots and get 50% more hull/shields, etc.

This idea seems solid. The interrogation fortress is a BIG upgrade to the previous, but it's a research structure available to 500+. A few extra credits I guess, but I wouldn't expect to see the stats that high.
Also, the upgrade schematics will normally increase upkeep faster than stats. +50% upkeep, +25% stats seems more likely.
But yes, overall this seems like a good idea.

This is a soild idea, maybe make it shareable to rank 400-3000 so more ppl could see it, and have 15 reward slots like the Graxis does.
I don't see why EVERY NPC group doesn't have a rank 400+ 10, 12 or 15 person boss. A lot of players are breaking into the "mid-ranks" and there really are no major Mid-Rank Bosses, let alone something for higher ranked people.

lose the 3k or 2k rank limit BS and I'll give it a +1. Why are we now limiting NPc ranks like that. Kinda seems like a way to hurt the game play for the longest lasting GL players how need new content the most.

Just because I am level 1k+, I still want to add passive attack to my volcanics/gas giants (not that I have many but not the point). Sure, +200 from the Stryll Pathogen is negligible, when I am trying to invade those super highly defended planets, I want that negligible boost. And so on...

+1 from me too, new NPC's are always a good thing.
I actually like the idea of having a 20-man boss. It means taking it down is much more of a team effort. You can always use Tactical Remodulation if you're not strong enough to take it out.

very keen on the stryll upgrades aspect, since youll be trying to kill quite a few of them to get all your modules done, not just 2-4 and moving on saying 'wow(yawn) been there got the loot, wheres the next one'

the idea with the fortress was to be used pretty much for the defence or just scrap for CTP.
@strm, that would probably be better to keep the schematics similar to the other ones.
@soulplay, would it be better if it was put to around 9999 (like the fabrication plant) ?
as for spaces, i was thinking originally that 15 seemed too small for the hull/shield on it, 20 seemed more like a heavy team play style, but most of the higher legions could probably handle one of these with less than that amount.

Most of the higher legions are elite, there are a lot of not higher legions who would also be interested in new NPCs.

whilst im only approaching the bottom of the elite (let me dream please), i would certainly welcome having 5 or more HUGE bosses that ATLEAST 15 people need to hit, and have it be a variety of ranks, have a few slots ONLY for 1-200, 201-501, 601-1000 etc.. so its a LEGION boss, bot just a higher ranks bust the sht out of it and the lower ranks tag it.
