Dan, can you please make some kind of exception to the Immune to Artifacts effect of the Warp Inhibitor so we can use Star Chart Purgers to clear them off out planet list. The way it is now we're penalized for daring to scan such planets unless we conquer them... and then we're stuck with the stupid thing unless we abandon it. The Inhibitor should probably also have an exception for a Mylarai Extractor.

Why my bottom 30 planets have them.

if your using a warp inhibitor on your own planets use a Mylarai Extractor before you place it it stays active and you can lift the inhibitor any time to check the planet but dont forget to use another extractor when you put the inhibitor back .

and if they are on enemy planets try a comm to the legion most use extractors and will lift it so you can purge the planet or they might even soft flux it depending on the planet.

why not put it on your best planets... they arent exactly a rare artifact.. kill a few more xrp stations.. presto, more inhibitors.
it does suck that you cant probe them, as the owner of the planet you should be able too, as the enemy, you should NOT be able too.
if you do put them on your best planets, then said planet SHOULD have quite a bit of def, since thats the only thing your protecting, your plane should be relatively safe from the majority of players. and if you destroy it once a month and probe it, that could be a work around if probes arent changed to work on them.

I hate getting warp inhibitors because I never use them or scrap them. Every inhibitor I've placed I ended up later extracting to use more artifacts on the planet. An idea I've seen someone else state is for it to prevent others from using artifacts on the planet, but not prevent the owner from doing so. A drawback of this, of course, is that more enemies would be placing them on their planets, making it harder to take them.
