You were kicked for no reason. The ***hole who kicked you, xxgalactusxx, also known as xxnazwreckxx, posed as a former member of ours who we trusted, and welcomed back. We gave him back his former position of officer, and he proceeded to kick EVERYONE who he could. For proof, here's this album of the chat log. If you were kicked, please come back, or at the very least let anyone else who was kicked know what happened. And to anyone else who sees this, please let anyone who was kicked know what happened. Thank you very much in advance.

I hope this guy pays for what he did. All of us at Spaceballs are hoping he gets banned. That as the worst case of bad edicate I've ever seen in this game.

I just heard about this and feel your pain. Lesson learned though. I guarantee you all will use prudence in the future when promoting someone.

No offense, but I don't see how you let this happen. This has happened before, with some guy from some legion who got promoted when he returned, kicked everyone, took all the base credits, then was finally kicked himself.
You should learn from the precedent and not copy mistakes that others have made. Hope you learn from your own mistakes.

This happened to Spaceballs before? This is new to Spaceballs, though as mentioned above similar events have happened to other legions in the past. TaylorX wrote: Sort of, the guy tried to do the same to Galactic Paladins...so we've heard. He apparently has major beef with Nazwreck and took it out on us. I don't think anything I could have done to Montecristo in the course of our heated PvP actions can justify this!

You should learn from the precedent and not copy mistakes that others have made. Hope you learn from your own mistakes. This all happened while I was gone, and I'm not even the leader. Say what you will, what this guy did was beyond douch-ey and it goes beyond a simple trust breaking thing. This guy posed as one of our most trusted, former members and used this to pull a completely out of the blue and undeserved attack on us. We've let our guy come back before, and every time he's been a huge help, giving our base money like no ones business and helping out with huge amounts of research and artifacts. I assume my leader figured that only good would come of letting back in yet again.

Not to Spaceballs, but it has happened before and may not be the last until safeguards are added. http://galaxylegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25038

I hope Dan will develop a safeguard against this if he can so nothing like this ever happens again to any legion.

Safe guards like:
1. You can read the forum and see it has been done before. 2. You have to let them in the legion. 3. You have to promote them. 4. You can see the in game legion message saying who is doing the booting and any leader paying attention could have stopped it at 3 or 4 ships instead of 25.
You mean safe guards like that?

You mean safe guards like that? The guy stole the name of a former member of ours, a member that we held in very high regard and trusted, and we still do. So when he came back asking for his position back, something he's done many times, we let him.

Y'all let the wolf in 'cause he was dressed like a sheep, nobody in your leadership used their brain to see if his name on the friends list matched the ship before promoting.
Then when he started the mass booting, y'all didn't stop him 'cause of the "very high regard and trust" for his actions.
Furthermore, the legion isn't innocent, by your members' own admission, y'all took sides in the ongoing feud, and Montecristo got the best of you with a strategically brilliant outflanking of his enemies' supply chain.
It sucks to be you, I almost feel bad for your situation, but it's a war game, and y'all brought it upon yourselves.

And we never took part in the feud, what gave you that idea? Can I see your evidence, please? (I dont' mean this in a snooty way, but in a legit "I wish to see it" way, if that makes sense). Your right, this is a war game, and had we taken part in the war I wouldn't be posting this. But we did literally nothing, and this guy came in and destroyed our legion.

Anyway, I've no interest in hunting up evidence, but y'all know full well you asked about the feud and offered artifacts as soon as Montecristo joined yesterday. That shows your leadership was not unaware, as y'all would like people to believe. Your screenshots here even conveniently leave out the discussion prior to the promotion, to paint y'all in a better light.
I am in no way supporting Montecristo nor opposing Spaceballs The Legion, I'm calling it like it is.
P.S. To me the most tragic aspect of your screenshots here is that an Officer is shown actually encouraging the use of Trellith Resequencers on a Toxic.

5 min cooldown for any officer kicking a member.
it won't stop everyone... someone get online at a point where noone else is online for an hour but still it'll reduce this type of thing.
and it's easy to do, Dan uses cooldown for everything else.

Just be glad Monte didn't do what I would have if so provoked. Mind ya it says he "left" not "was kicked" from the copied post I saw of things. Therefore he was not even halted but left willingly.
I would have done VASTLY more damage had I been the one to make such a move. assuming no leaders were online to kick me as an officer I would have demoted the officers first then kicked all but the leaders then built a commerce structure on base, drained all funding, sold all base structures, wasted all base AP on unneeded repairs, and left the legion in total shambles.
This is why I keep myself on a leash by ensuring the others in my management team will approve of my actions first. It's a nice leather leash, strong chain, got my name on a shiny stainless steel emblem "Kav", and they only let girls hold the other end. I got's a nice little life in GD. lol.
BTW, XOXO, miss annabelle, love your thoughts on this matter! You can hold my leash any day!

--mystic Waste of time. And it takes away from the danger and excitement of the game. -1. Just make sure you know who you're promoting. Simple and effective.
