ill agree with special circumstances, a guaranteed never to be lost x20 is worth the extra bit of work.

tree, please explain to me how a plasma starting at ZERO is just as quick to increase as an ocean that starts at very rich (or thereabouts)
theres ~10-12 poornesses to get out of the way before its caught up with the ocean.. times that by the roughly 2 days per enhancement, and thats 16-20 days just playing catchup.. where in that same time my ocean is maxed at x15 and im working on the next one.

If you have 2 VM VR oceanics each with say 46 ap from buildings, it will take you 36 times to max them and each click will produce 23 more AP/hr

Where as if you had 2 C plasmas with 50 ap from buildings it would take 27 clicks to max 1. So you would be 11 into the second, but you would be producing 25 AP/hr for each click.

So if you just have all 4 planets in your possession upgrading the plasmas is more profitable. If you have to colonize one or the other, then yes you will produce more with the oceanic faster, due to the initial state of the resource but if you are like me you can easily take both.

Also remember it is easier to defend fewer planets, especially the bigger ones.

fluffy, ive never argued against the minor bonus that extra space on the colossal plasmas, it IS a bit better, but if your doing all the work yourself, and im arguing from the standpoint of gaining terraformers at a constant rate, the player enhancing very massive oceans, is going to be producing more faster. im not waiting around 10 years to eventually gaining a a couple hundred point edge on someone. not when i can just work on my oceans, defend them reasonably well, and for that tiny difference, just colonize a very large arti planet and not defend it, BAM, size and production difference negated.

Not going to bother repeating myself, I already proved you wrong, explained why and provided examples of how you might be right. Also you example of taking a smaller planet is exactly what I said about the VM oceanics and negating the production from starting at a higher resource availability.

Chron Shifters Limit two per planet. Size 1, 300 Cloak. Only able to obtain 5 per player, unless you have scanned a planet with that kind of artifact.
