This would help some players acquire badges that they're short on (for example, I'm TERRIBLE at raiding and can't get enough yellow badges). Others who have too many of a certain badge they can't use or don't want, they can get rid of.

I guess I'll tell you why then.. Because badges are meant as a reward system. That'd be like being able to buy mission completions. Completely ruins the point.

just like football planets ruin the green badge rewards.
if you cant do enough raids now, start adding to crew, slowing your ranking a bit, and working on it. not everything needs to be shoved in your mouth on a silver spoon. here TAKE THESE REWARDS FOR NOTHING.

Yeah I think you get the point, badges are meant as a reward for PvPers who can then buy some sweet new modules with them. If your bad at raiding then get more crew/persevere in fact yellows are easier than reds so if you can et enough reds but not enough yellows you need to re-think your strategy.

I think this is a bad idea, badges are some thing you should have to work for a reward for your actions. Would lesssen there awesomeness. Plz don't . I have a small BT and will have to farm a few ppl for badge mods I have 1 of 8 new badge mods and I do plan to get them at some point. It wold be a lot easser for it to be like this, but I don't want eassy or for things to lessen and cheapen the values of things.

i have 1656 yellow badges in my cargo hold and i still -1 this suggestion.
