Hi, I have a couple questions which I am wondering if someone can answer:

1. Is there a cool down when you use the paradox generator? When you completely finish that mission you technically have a total of 10 uses. So if that resets the daily reward timer, does that mean that you can get the same reward 10 more times or is it a different reward every time you use it?

2. What is the cut-off time for daily rewards? In other words, what time does it reset so that a new reward is given?

there sort of is a daily reward cutoff time. its on a 20 hour schedule, so if you can get up a couple times in the middle of a couple of nights, you can effectively gain an extra rewards over those who just wait 24 hours (or until they wake up) to get it.

So then you technically couldn't get the same reward then by using it multiple times...What about sometimes when there are holiday specials, like the item given on the 4th of July?

Then you will get the same daily reward each time you use the paradox generator.

Do yourself a favor and save them for when you fail an invade on a really nice planet.
Using them just to get another daily reward is a major waste.

oh no, you can get the same reward.. the best use of the generators is after failing a difficult invasion on NEW YEARS, you get a free race changing device (atleast we have these last two years).

if your thinking of just using them to get daily rewards, i suggest you not do that because thats a waste.

also if you time it right, you can get two race changing artis on new years without the paradox generator. i got three last year. and a nice x18 irradiated.

How do you know what the timing is though?

time it so you collect once at 12:01 GST time of new years, and again in 20 hours .. both will be on the same day, and for the special daily reward, youll get the same thing.
every other day of the year (excluding other holidays/special days) you get whatever the RNG throws at you.

Okay got a stupid question now...how far ahead is GST in relation to US East time?

It says the GST in-game in the top-left corner, to the left of your energy/hull/shield.

Ahh okay I gotcha. So for the race change device you get one both on New Years Eve and New Years Day?

No, one or the other. I don't remember which. But if you collect just after midnight at the beginning of the day, since it's a 20 hour timer, you can collect again before the day's over.

I don't understand though, how did you get three if it's only given on one day?

He used 1 paradox generator, since he failed an invasion so it was even more worth using.

so you're saying he used the generator to get the third race change device then, is that correct?

correct. i knew the advantages of doing the theft on that day, so i chose a juicy planet (at the time and rank). so i got 3 and still have one left.

smart man...... interesting. Now to find a tasty planet to invade.....

I managed to get 3 new year artis without using a paradox.

as far as I recall, the new year reward did infact cover new years eve, and new years day (i may be wrong, but then i can't figure how I got 3 then)

i do think the actual holday reward was a reward for 40 or something hours.
