Yeah, I'd like to have it level faster than that icarium, for sure. I haven't done the math on it, school is too hectic right now for me to do a lot of work on the idea. Hopefully soon though.

Maybe add in the chance that while the scout ship is searching for planets it passes by one of your occupied planets and with its more fine tuned scanners it picks up an anomaly you couldn't and when it reports back, you then have the option to scan for a temporary or permanent effect on that planet.

I was thinking that this would have a 5% chance of happening from rank 1 and it stays the same up till rank 100 and if it succeeds in this, as an equalizer your chances of finding a planet become 0% for that attempt.

just because you cant afford it at rank 100, doesnt mean these things arent affordable. you could always trade artis for what you need (if its sendable) or planets, or credits... you have options.

Nah i meant with the same type of ally, as in like someone mentioned earlier that because this idea is a mechanical ally, you have to choose between it and Anubix.
