Rank 1: 50 Attack, 100 Hull
Rank Bonus: None

Rank 30: 80 Attack, 160 Hull
Rank Bonus: 5% chance to boost attack 15% for 5 minutes

Rank 60: 110 Attack, 220 Hull
Rank Bonus: 5% chance to boost attack 15% for 5 minutes and 5% chance to block incoming attacks, removing 300 damage from one hit and reducing condition by 10%.

Rank 100: 150 Attack, 300 Hull
Rank Bonus: 10% chance to boost attack 15% for 5 minutes and 10% chance to block incoming attacks, removing 300 damage from one hit and reducing condition by 10%.

Increase rank by disabling ships 100+ ranks higher without using artifacts.

Frankly, any of these values can be changed, simply the concept which I'm suggesting.

This is actually a brilliant idea for a ally and is a idea that would get more people into high level PvP, although the requirements to level it up are WAY too easy. The buffs are a cool idea but when your spamming a hundred attacks a minute then they could get OP and of course your alert log I don't doubt will go nuts.

It only renews it, it doesn't add another 5%/10% on top of it.

The % could be changed to say, 2% - which would be a lot more balanced. Also, I'd suggest that the rank 100 version block say 450 damage instead of the same value.

Of course, I'm guessing the stats would be gradient, not just these milestones. Gaining 1 attack per rank seems pretty weak though - I'd like it to give slightly more attack than that (2 per rank would be more substantial) as well as a higher hull stat.

In addition, I'd suggest that when the fighter blocks an attack, the module takes damage - forcing it to be repaired after 10 blocks. That'd make it slightly more costly to work with, and help balance things out a little.

Alright, I wasn't sure what values I should put in there, this might be a better suggestion.

Yes, the stats are of course gradient. I went with 1 attack simply because I believed it would quickly become overpowered for lower ranks. Hull, I'm not sure.

D'oh, forgot to mention the blockage takes damage. I actually had that in mind, but never put it down. Will update the main post to include that.

What I meant was because of the volume of attacks, this buff will almost always be activated.

How's this?

Ranking up require say 10 exp/rank
players with 40%+ higher rank gives 10 exp each
players with 25-40% higher rank gives 5 exp each
players with 0-25% higher rank gives 2 exp each
players with 0-20% lower gives 1 exp each

somewhat unfair for the top players (require 1000 disables of peers... kinda hard) but.... doable.

Red badge isn't 24 hours....
but yeah, i think it needs to be a badging disable too, farming is bad XD

Ok, so you rank this critter by disabling someone over your rank without nerfing them... Wait till someone hits you, alert them and have someone else in your legion nerf the crap out of the target. Play your cards right and a legion could concievably have their entire roster reach rank 100 critters within a couple days.

no active player debuff and have not been CM/torpedoed in the last half hour.

not a lot of ways to soften up a ship other than those.

Then when you have the guy almost dead someone else finds him and decides to toss an EMP at him and blows your shot... I just don't see any way of making the ranking requirement work without it being too hard or too easy. Just doesn't look like there is any happy medium.

now you are just being pessimistic, chance of that is too low to be of any significance, in the scope of 100-1000 disables, this won't even happen 5% of the time, does it really matter?
you would have a better chance of encounering halcs for chicken's sake, why aren't you complaining about that?

Darth, instead of providing destructive criticism on one part of the idea and dismissing the whole thing, how about providing an alternative to make the idea plausible? Is that too hard?

Im going to have fun braking this POS down and explain why its a terable idea.
STOP with % atk boost we have SOOO many we dont need more! why s it people cry planet defence and base combat needs help then you ask for MORE ATK not just any atk % atk . the ATK that will help the people who you are asking Dan to help protect you from. Take your palm and whack your forhead with it 1 time plz.

Remove 300 damage so Small ships would be immune to many atks. YAY! your face may now hit the desk.

Kill a ship ranks 100 over you . Soo ya big pizz off to the upper ranks. Geez. I hope after the palm and desk you have a better idea on things.

As for your coment at Darthy.. Who are you to say he cant point out the issues. It''s your idea You have no right asking him to do your work for you. He pionted out the problems rather then just giving it a -1 and saying nothing so YOU can fix it. Thats how the real world works. When you do some thing wrong people tell you your mastake and its up to you to fix it. If they did your job for you then why are you even there? destructive criticism?? no telling you do bang your head on thing is Disrutctive , pointing out flaws so you can fix it is constructive. Telling a child "no" is pointless No is many things so you tel them " no don't touch " , "NO dont run hear" or " no not in the house" this way they learn. Your the kid in this explanation! He told you why it will not work so you will understand and beable to fix it.

Change the whole thing. % atk again terable idea, -300.. bad idea we have trity cores gemin canons just stop with it. the rank 100+ thing.. why?
your suggesting a idea for al rank ranges you need to make it work for al ranks
