added a link from the Bases page, but i don't think there is an answer yet for bases level 7 or 8.

because the legions who have lvl 7 and 8 bases will war you if you lock em to even find out.

let anyone take out your base and everyone will farm your legion for badges.

edit- also you need super high attack to hit cap and bases of that level will have 100s of thoundards of defense. mentos only has 130k attack unbuffed i heard.

7 is 600 and most likely so is an 8. There is not much difference in modules that can be placed on these there is no reason the DC should rise.

Those bases will not have 100s of thousands of defense by the way. Over 100k? Yes, but not 100s.

reading the forums the users here said mentos was the highest damager in the game?.was this wrong info given out by the vets of this forum? who do you think low ranks like us are being advised by?

i have also heard some people claim that people try to disable him for their 1000th kill cause he is famous here. kinda nuts to me why you would want to try an disable mostly publicly known strongest player in the game but that's just me. also i heard who the strongest tanker was but no one talks about that guy in forums as much cause it was my own legion that told me not people in the forums.

Mento dealt 4.1M damage to The Dysonians Level 8 Base. That's by far a record.

Also, the last update he gave was 120K buffed attack. Bases can only manage on average 40K-50K, maybe 60K defense. That's twice the attack of any defense of any base.

from my understanding the closer to the cap of a base or npc the more attack you need, even a 50 defense base i am not yet able to score damage cap hit every time with an attack over x10 the defense.

but mentos would be the one to ask about the damage cap of a lvl 7 and 8 due being being able to cause the most damage per hit

we just need someone to add to the wiki the damage cap info of lvl 7 and 8. and then 9 and then 10 and so on if the base max possible level increases.

just to add the difference between a 7 and 8 is pretty much insignificant, only 12 extra spaces needed for everything to be equipped, which is why lvl 8 also give C crates. And the 7 cap was confirmed by us a little while ago.

one of the vets in my legion said the best level for protection is lvl 5, lvl 6+ is just to up production.

whenever someone disables us we buy more tactical space gp artifacts and increase the weapons, hull and defense and each time some top legion hits us we just pour more gp into our base because while we are a little legion ourselfs, our base production gets reset after a disable, we lose our boosts for 2 days and while we have no right to demand a top 10 legion not base lock us, we want to make sure that a legion of the same strength as us will have to waste a ton of energy just to get a few silvers out of us.

we are after all 2 years behind the other vets that started playing this game. people still judge you on your time playing this game, not if you are a good player.

5s have small damage caps, therefore you deal less damage with equal stats. Much more of an energy drain with correct planning. 6s are softer than 5s, and are the preferred target for the relatively large battle groups (Same drops as 7s, less energy to take down, usually). 7s can fit just about everything, drop the same thing as 6s, have more BAPs, and are therefore take more energy to drop with someone at the wheel. All breaks down to how many fixers you have, and how you plan out your base.

I agree with you there. I find it hard to earn respect from high rankers simply because I'm considered a noob to them, when I could possibly know more about the functionality and content than them. I've researched extensively into the past of GL, and what it was like then. Just because I wasn't around at the time doesn't mean I'm stupid. I do feel offended sometimes. I think they need to give things a little think through.
