How much attack would i need to kill npcs in the minimum hits
Def?
Hull?
Scan - 50 for the npcs worth going for am i right?
energy?

and anything else that might be helpful.

Not a real great idea to NPC purely so early on. Not many NPCs that drop anything of value, no elites yet. To answer your question, though, you will need ~1500 attack to accomplish minimal hit kills. Hull and defense just slow down the rate at which repairs are needed, so go for hulls first. Energy is the "grab all you can get," but mainly before rank-ups.

Research will be the least of your problems. To get enough attack to minimum-hit NPCs, you need quite a few decks, and without a good AP supply, you are out of luck. Go for Singularities or Quantum Devastors to the minimum. Try to get a third energy core online, get singularity cores as soon as possible. Hulls, not good. Neutronium whenever you can. Defenses, go for Phase Shift. This is a rough and jumbled list of things that you might want to get, and it will take a while to prepare it all.

hmm the problem is my scan runs have been absolutly awful to say the least....
so upping my artifact is a no unless someone in my legion alerts a planet
