I basically would want to see NAPs (non aggression pacts) to allow legion members to go from one legion to another legion without losing loyalty. - the NAP pact should be in place for quite some time to prevent quick NAP's
- maybe make it so NAPS have to be in place for a week or two before members can
- even after allowing members to move to another legion, there should be a timer so that a person can only change legions once every 1 or two days to prevent abuse
- it would be great for legions that have sublegions to allow them to come up and use their ct lab
- for the top legions who constantly change from BP's to TP's this would be a calculated sacrifice as that valuable treaty slot could be used for another ally in base battles or to boost artifact production.

So a legion with a bunch of NAPs could shuffle some people around those legions without anyone losing loyalty and 2 minutes after someone locks their base they suddenly buff with 60 Aerlen Fixers?

interesting concept, but Darth pose a very valid problem. So try one of the following. 1. You keep the loyalty in your original legion whenever you return but does not auto-gain loyalty to new legion. If and when you gain loyalty to the new legion, your original legion loyalty disappears. 2. Just reduce the amount of time required to gain loyalty after such a switch to 8-24 hours. Long enough to avoid using it for base defense purpose, but shorter time for more convinience.

That would actually be really useful.

The whole point of legion loyalty (and its benefits) was added specifically to REDUCE legion hopping.

yes, but hopping mostly involves travling to MANY different legions and done by a small amount of players. By requiring a NAP that have been established for a reasonablly long amount of time to do it, I think most of the problem with legion hopping should be avoided (for example, planet selling) option #2 might be a bit more problematic in that it can be used for "shared CTL" which would benefit medium sized legions, but I can't see any problem with option #1. Do something quick in a legion with a strong relation then come back shouldn't hurt too much.

I was just thinking about that, and that definitely would need to be addressed mainly by somehow nerfing the loyalty so that it can't be abused to buff bases.

(as per OP suggestion, thou I personally favor at least a month over just 1-2 weeks). It's not very likely for you to only sell stuff to legions that you are NAPed with, in fact NAP isn't used much atm at all

Argeed, theres enough problems on bases with out super shuffle. But this idea is good, so i thought about it. what if flip it on its head? Every week the NAP stays in place, The legion gains 1 move point, Each time a player is transfered OR Recieved, it cost 1 movement point. the maximum allowed movement points is 60, (30 members recieved, 30 transfered). Each movement point spent has a 72 hours timer. This would make player sharing amoung otherthing easier but keeping 60 Aerlen Fixers and other stupid things at bay. JF
