I still have my Planetary Aegis. It is useless at this point and a mere relic from exactly 2 years ago. Is it to just be a museum relic such as my useless Omicron Net, or can its usefulness be reinstated such as a rank percent defense provision effect instead of a set defense provision?
Any suggestions and/or ideas?
Also, I had an idea about a artifact exchange system that has more than likely been suggested before, but here it is: Exchange a particular amount of artifacts to receive one random artifact. Artifacts received in this way could be based on a similar attribute to artifacts sacrificed such as Crimson Obelisk and Ancient Crystal Foci. As well, a particular amount of an artifact would be required for exchange based on the rarity of said artifact. I thought new artifacts could be introduced in this way but that would require new artifacts to be thought up that wouldn't ruin the GP market. Yes, I am aware of CT Lab, GTC, and established trade markets otherwise.

I personally would like to see a mission chain with this at the end of it. Present your Planetary Aegis, and it will be manufactured into something more useful and/or permanent. Minimum rank required.

However I do believe if such a mission would arise, they should get something that gives a very low chance to get another.

Or just give the mission as random event. Another such is those who've used their but can't do such a mission could have a planet miraculously reverse time of the Aegis use and the random event would give it back. After mission is done, Aegis cannot be retained. I guess that would solve that little issue. It's better than my original idea for the "90%" to suck it up.

I used mine by mistake whilst trying to use another artifact when my planet was attacked (as I was using a very laggy phone that could barely run GL at the time when the planet was hit). I didn't bother Dan about it because I figured it was useless anyway; I would be somewhat saddened if a mission involving it came out (unless another mission came out before it that had a few Aegis available, which wouldn't be bad anyway so long as it was a low completion mission).

I suggest random event because they don't show without certain prerequisites met such as having a Terra/Gaia for T O Hyperseekers. It wouldn't matter to those who don't have an Aegis because they wouldn't see it.
"Archaeologists on {Planet Name} have discovered some inscriptions on some stone about an ancient shield that resembles the Planetary Aegis you possess. They are currently deciphering the codes inscribed on the artifacts, but they believe it could be a way to make it even more powerful (and permanent)."
Something like that. Then near the end, something happens and the Galactic Aegis plans are lost and only one was able to be produced. Thoughts?

Was just wondering, how many people actually have theirs still? Also, if anyone past rank 300 has used theirs not by accident?

if it can be obtained again through missions then it needs a set number like the paradox generators or mutagenic cartriges
