Advice on my ship's build

Just looking for some suggestions as to where to take my ship in the future. This is where I'm at, right now:

Weapons: Dominion Cannon - Mk III, Prototype Mech Defences: Auto-Evasion Node, BM-50 Shuttle x 3, Dark Thruster x 4 Hull: Neutronium Armour x 4, Vortal Plating, Protean Armoury x 3 Energy: Nothing Devices: Parser
Minerals: 1258 Artifacts: 1120 Research: 5280
Null Rays 1/3 Transconduits Force Oblivination 1/3 Quantum Jamming 3/3 Neutronium 2/3 Microwarp Naccelle 1/3 Quantum Resonance 1/3 Star Lifting 3/3 Hybrid Theory Dynamics
Battles 11460 Player Kills 253 Deaths 35 Missions 135 Hacks 952 Raids 484
I know I need to get my scan up, that is next, after i finish Heavy Nulls. Any other glaring problems anyone sees in my build?

A couple of things. first why do you have a small ship build but only a few pvp kills? It doesn't make much sense to build a ship based around pking if you dont pk.
Second Your artifact production leaves a lot to be desired. you have a Impresive research but the thing about having a small ship is research benifits you less as you can't install cannons defences ect. If you can get your artifact up and keep pvping then your ship will become very good.

Thanks for the tips. To answer your questions; 1) I actually didn't realize that my ship was that small, 2) I really kep the build like that as a defensive measure, as opposed to offensive, 3) High research was to get planetary's to +12 as quick as possible as well as obliv barriers for my planets.
I just finished all my passive medals, so I had taken 1.5 months off of pvp'ing, and am now jumping back on red badging, so I hope to get my pk numbers up in the near future. As to arti production...it's just a matter of now finding several decent arti planets to grab, I really haven't had much luck finding many of late.
Thanks again for the advice. Please understand, I'm not trying to argue...just explain what I've been doing with a kind of weird ship build.

Auto-Evasion Node is prety useless thit this 25 def and 3% on your current def  dont you think soo
