Dont cancel by attacking a player as it suggests.
This is both an issue report and suggestion to make it able to be cancelled.

Prevents your ship from being attacked, but also prevents your ship from attacking. Lasts 4 hours. The effect is immune to removal from enemy artifacts, but will be removed if you perform any offensive actions against other players.


where in there does it say it cancels by attacking another player? the text specifically says you cant attack other players.
just attacking a player does not count as an offensive action, and therefore does not remove a calm amp.

need to hack, raid, or throw some debuffs.

No, I'm sorry but that's BS. They've worked forever, and things don't suddenly stop working. I've used the hacking method plenty of times, and I'm sure lots of others have too.

Yes it's "#&$#" as you refer to it, the one and only thing that worked was using a ion storm on a planet

If you'd remember correctly, that was a result of the new "stacking news" feature that Dan added. That's why it broke.
