After maintenance all my artifacts are scrambled. Instead of the old orderly list I get them in descending age order, by my best guess. That meaning I got them all scrambled with the last ones drawn/acquired being last in the list my oldest artifacts (as far as I can tell) being first. Pretty annoying to search for a particular artifact now in the list. Feature or bug ?

Yeah, start with consumables: artifact drops, NPC drops, mission drops, and then modules, so the stuff you're going to use most will be right at the top.

artifacts I would like sortable by alphabet or even the standard (the first version).
modules I would like sortable by bonuses or size

And while you're at it, can you expand on the module abilities? I want to see all the bonuses instead of just seeing "special" with a tooltip.

Well, by default I would say the previous order ? Which was roughly AP drops first then mission/NPC artifacts, which makes sense to me. I like having the artifact buildings together for example; for ships, having things that go together logically like hull restore/shield restore, hull nanites/shield amp, etc. NPC should be the -10% ones followed by the -50% debuffs, not the reverse. The exact order of things is debatable, but I see alphabetical being far less useful on the quick use tabs than the cargo list. Planet building list, low tech followed by higher tech, and defense/pop buildings before resources, before special buildings (I think it was almost right before).

best would be be type....all traps together....all attack buffs....all dropped arts.....for planets...all pop items..all production increasing things together sorted with all mine and all art together

Like they used to be. Traps with traps, buffs with buffs and so on. And definitely the same kind one after the other. I.e. Crimson obelisk, crimson obeliskx2, crimson obelisk etc.

Also special ones like the glavitz or omnibase, things that almost never get used or have a limit on the amount obtainable should be at the bottom

May i suggest you reedit the list and put the artifacts back together and put them in alphabetical order.I thought i lost some artifacts only to find them all over the page. this would help alot.

I personally always sort my artifacts alphabetically, but i'm the sort of person that has learned the name of all the artifacts by heart so I always know what to look for. Funnily enough though, the alphabetical sorting is still working fine for me. It's not messed up at all.

Several people in my legion have complained about the sorting though. They've all said they want the ship consumables at the top/start of the list.

On planets, I want purchasable on top (most likely to destroy/upgrade), followed by artifact shipment buildings followed exotic buildings, then NPC dropped buildings.

We'll plan to make the columns sortable by choice, like the other areas. The next update is coming very soon, so this will be included.

Will this also affect the recent haywire sorting of planetary buildings which seems to have changed to a listing of "when installed" over the old groupings?
