Actually Varuns ship should be as strong if not stronger. Ash ole buddy thinks that having the attack and defense and energy the same as the year is a great accoplishment.

Someone is a bit full of themselves. Firstly, obvious bad suggestion is obvious. Secondly, the only reason you should need for taking a planet is for worthwhile endeavors such as better production or king of the hill 2.0 medal. If Darkstar took an Average Very Abundant Barren planet way back when, nobody is gonna want it just because he had it. It doesn't matter who had it before the person who has it now. Thirdly, on a far stretch, the only viable reason for such a thing is....wait...nope, can't think of one.

Do some research into the forum and/or wiki for your own sake. If you find a good reason for this idea, I'd love to see it.

The current owner is the only thing that matters really. One time one of my legionmates invaded an 18x Demon planet that was still owned by Nocifier Deathblade with the help of a few of us saboteurs over the span of a couple days. Sentimental value considering it once belonged to the founder of what's now the most powerful legion? Sure. But there wouldn't be many cases where seeing the history of a planet's owners would even matter, it would just be a large mess of names most of which you wouldn't even recognize.

As well, I'm not sure the game's coding was built with this kind of thing in mind. So it would only be an incomplete history if this was implemented now.

While this would be a somewhat cool idea it isn't really necessary. How will this idea improve the quality of Galaxy Legion gameplay?

It's as simple as this: A VL ER Arti planet that no one has conquered/colonized is more valueable than a VT ES Mining football. Why? Because footballs are expendable, good arty worlds aren't. So adding a list of names to add 'spice' to the planet wouldn't do any good. If anything it will tell the person exactly who has the planet scanned making the flux probe-tracer a redundant artifact. And what about those who have fluxed a planet? Those names are burned onto the planet forever, which can lead to people (who have scanned a recently fluxed planet) believing that they scanned a heavily contested planet. Also let's not forget about the already bad lagging on the planet tab...

You never explained why you -1'ed it. For all I know, you could have just because I was the submitter. But if it's for reasons someone else already said, you could just say, "I second (username)" (and even with their quote as a bonus.)

Here's why.

First, It would be an incomplete list. The reason why people still had to use "Enrich" or the other race ability's 15 times to earn their medal was because the game wasn't coded to track the action. It's easy to assume that planet owners aren't currently tracked either. Dan would have to add it.

Second, while it wouldn't replace the Flux Probe - Tracer, (showing all the previous owners wouldn't show who had it scanned currently, just who use to own it) It would make fluxing planets not as worth it. If you could see who use to own a planet, what's to stop people from selling back planets to the original owner? The, "Hey i found a planet that you lost, would you like to buy it back, i can share the scan?" would become common. People would have a hard time selling enemy planets if there was a chance of it to have it rescanned by anyone else and sold back.

Third, We also already have a CT lab artifact that lets you see if someone is inactive or not. Once someone goes inactive they tend to stay inactive. While i can respect a planet's history, and even tho it kinda could be cool knowing that you leave your mark on every world that you own or use to own, to a certain extent, it's just something extra to look at and doesn't really add "content" to the game.
