We all know that a lot of limited artifacts come into play very early on in the game and while you can do you best to hoard them eventually you are going to run out of things
What i'm suggesting is a daily mission 500E 10 completions only available with the medals: A long road to get here and The Pinnacle
The mission would drop limited artifacts with things like biovaps being common and Cluster missile being rare paradox ex rare etc
To dilute the pool a little we could add some of the limited arties you get through missions such as antimatter drills Adaptive spires etc..
The mission would go along the lines of salvaging a destroyed ship where you raid them and get a crate you can then open the crate in your cargo for the reward.
This would reward the loyal long time playing members and allow them to continue to building planets properly.

Sorry, but long-time (2 years+) players already got ridiculous drops (Mass Surface Melters, etc) when starting, not to mention an AP collection headstart, there's definitely no need for them to get another preferential reward.

I like the sound of this, and I think it'd well reward some of us old timers (even though I haven't got the pinnacle yet )

i wouldnt mind this.. its costing us energy, that whilst we usually have a lot of it, its still going to be costly.. im not doing the klorvis mission daily..
The Klorvis Aftermath 0 / 10 Completion Level: 10
4K energy is still a chunk and ive got 10K+ to use
and not everyone who started 'way back then' got MSMS enmasse, most people were still low rank with low productions when the removal of them from arti drops happened.
I cant say for sure i was playing when they were even an option as a drop, but im under a month from getting my 2 year medal. and even with a legion full of players and SOME advice being given, players make mistakes, and there really shouldnt be such a huge problem with us getting the the opportunity to make some nicer planets.
the more nice planets there are out there, the more people will be scanning them and it would probably keep more of the long term players in the game and spending cash.

I disagree with paradox generators being allowed. THose are limited for a good reason imho.

5% = 1 every 20 days = 18 per year
3 per year would be ~0.8%

No. Paradox generators are limited for a reason. But the rest is good.

I'm sorry but some of these rewards are far to over powered, I'm all for rewarding the loyal player base but you need to revamp the reward base. 2 of which, the crimson cluster missile, and the paradox generator. A good idea +1/2

Some input from players who would actually qualify for this would be appreciated.
Not to take anything away from your guys comments but most of you are not in this situation and really have no idea how frustrating it is. paradox and CC while they should be rare yes there is no reason why a high rank shouldn't be able to get one of these every few months to save for a special invade, after 2 years how ever careful you are with the arties you will run out and to have no way of ever getting them back is just plain wrong, more content lost for high ranks.

I came to terms with these limited artis being limited a long time ago. I am fine with most of them staying limited.
Planet structures are the only ones I would see as OK to bring back in this manner. Adaptive spires, Antimatter Drill, Mylari Stripcore Mine, etc. with the really rare drops being hoveroids, Rikthar's War Forge

Certain arties being available I agree with. Those arties are limited for a reason, but in a certain manner of looking at it, someone playing for 1 year has had more MSMs than someone playing for 3 (Presuming they both got 5 each).
The former has had 5 MSMs per year, whilst the latter has had 1.66666666... MSMs per year. People older than 2 years would be eligible for this; no younger. Regardless of your energy bank, you can't abuse the system as it's a daily thing. The reward should perhaps stay the same but maybe have chances of getting certain items. Paradox Generators being like... 0.5% with other things like Zolazin Analyzers being up at the 3% mark (For example).
Storyline for the mission chain could be a mass battlefield from when two very large factions went to war with one-another and most of the ships were decimated. High radiation levels might explain the reason it's a daily; low chance of losing a crew member when continuing the mission; low chance of taking massive damage from continuing the mission (Perhaps module damage from radiation damage). High energy because you have to navigate the ship-yard, scan for a suitable ship and then launch a boarding party. Must have a minimum amount of scanning power as well as other requirements.
