Leaving legion after sharing NPC

Searched but couldn't find the answer to this question:
If I share an NPC with my legion, and then leave before it's disabled, what will happen? Will it remain shared with everyone I originally shared it with?

They won't be able to see it anymore, but if you finish it off they'll still get their rewards.
