Just wondering as to how they work as in recharge rates...

2% every tick. Bases' tick is set at 2 minutes which is the same as a ship's tick before Shield Recharging modules are factored in.

Things i would enjoy adding to a base:

Shield recharging modules.

Things i like to imagine:

A legion of 60 Aerlen Physicists.


That would put our base at about 4.3 million shields, regenerating 90k every 2 minutes, with 200k defence

Is that optimal for defence? Not at all.

Is that cool as hell? Yes.

That plus a mass switch to fixer might be un killable. At least in one lock

Yeah... Dont forget that u can get 12 obl 100% upgrades. 12 shied putting out 40k each. 480k then Physicist bonus, +600%, 2860k shield.

Even more when you factor in Q-Pedd Field Generator, those would put you over 600K before buffing.

3,000,000 * 0.02 = 60,000 Shield per two minutes.
