-1, you are given 10gp at the beginning of the game to abandon any "mistakes". If you made more than two mistakes then you should fill those planets with semi-nice artis, strip the defense, and let somebody else make a mistake.

That's just another mistake. I believe I spun the galaxy wheel, so I'm even worse. I DID later spend GP on abandoning the swill I colonised at low ranks, especially when I got advice that "Taking sub-par planets was fine because you didn't need defenses".

I think an arty to do it is awesome, provided It's only in the Arty market and sold for 5GP. Mostly cause I never liked having to wait 12 hours to spend money. I spend so i don't have to wait. I would like to see a way not to way to have to spend more money.
As for abdoning a planet for free. I don't like that part of it.
