im rank 536, and i dont really see a future in this game lol, once you get to a certain rank theres nothing left. once i get to being able to autorank from npcing im going to do that pretty much non stop cause i enjoy it, and my punishment for enjoying this game is being ranked out of content, SORT IT OUT THIS IS RETARDED

Tons of other stuff you can do for a long time, your nowhere near the end of content yet (well there is always something to do)

oh and on a side note- make rewards for each X-amount of ranks like there is for completing amounts of missions, only make them actually good and not just like +20 something and +40 something else...would screw with the slow rankers too lol

and yeah at rank 500-odd im a while away yet but i will be shooting up in the ranks soon, and will shortly run out of stuff afterwards lol.

Well you cant really demote yourself so what do you suggest these people do? Do you want them to quit?
Nearly everything you do in this game gives you experience so you can't really freeze rank, plus every high ranker would quit if all he/she could do is hack people.
Now, even if you do correctly use all the content in the game (however you would do that) eventually you will get to those high ranks and then you will be stuck like all of them...

Please explain why you think these high ranked players shouldn't get new content, I would love to hear why you would deny them their content.

while I do complain about not having content from time to time at least I do come up with ideas that Dan could use to help the high ranks. Some of them have been introduced while others haven't. Though at this point in time I would like to ask why we still don't have Troopers and DAC's even though we where told that this would be addressed after Legion missions came out. I think I am within my rights of complaining about something that we where told was going to be taken care of but hasn't as of yet.

the whole "youre intentionally ranking past content" point is redundant, if i play this game as much as i would like to, i will rank past content whether i want to or not. you shouldnt have to intentionally slow down your gameplay and use the content as slowly as you can to make it last longer, that will make it boring, i wanna just play the game and continue to be able to do so, not play the game and then have the game taken away from me and be left with pretty much just basing.

Why don't you low ranks shut up and wait for Dan to add stuff on his own long before you even reach rank 2200

and ive been ranking 2-3 or more times a day depending how much play time i have, and as my engineers increase i have to wait less and less time for my next rank.
"stop increasing energy so you dont rank up so much" you might say, but i dont wanna have to hit that other annoying tedious block on content known as running out of energy, cause running out of energy means i cant play the game until i have more, which is boring.
im trying to eliminate the tedious limits on content here so i can fully enjoy the game, either i have to rank super slowly and never enjoy playing the game, or i get to enjoy the game then run out of fun cause it all randomly stops at a certain rank with NOTHING to replace it. if stuff continued up (like npc's) and missions could be repeated again a limited amount of times once you have finished them all or something (so you have another attempt at getting those artis and stuff you wasted in the low ranks), that would be good, but its like no effort or consideration has been put into this at all, its frustrating..

and many people have ranked up out of content in the long time since this issue was spoken about, and nothing has still been done. how do i know in a few months or whatever that anything will have been done, cause otherwise i may as well quit now and not waste my time on a game that only gets worse the more you play it lol..

So quit. if you rank 2-3 times a day you still wont be 2200 anytime soon
And the problem is not the problem but your attitude to the problem. stop whining about something that doesn't concern you (yet)

another point id like to introduce into this.. im sure some, if not all of you, play console games.
do you call the manufacturer of the games you love, when you run out of content after 100 hours? NO.
so please STFU and quit trying to outpace the content.
unless youve power ranked your way from rank 1 -2201, and even then i would doubt doing it faster, you have played MANY MANY hours more then you get out of other games.

In all fairness, it's not like they've anything else to do. Missions are gone, and all that's left is PvP/bases. To get better at PvP/bases, you've got to have a strong ship. For a strong ship, you need AP, for AP you need planets and for planets, you need NPCs.

I'd say the game gets stuck in a loop after a while.

To all those telling the lower ranks to stop talking about it:
If the president announced that in a year the income tax rate would be raised to 95% when would you start complaining and try to do something about it?
are you actually saying you should wait a year til it actually his you and you can't afford anything?

Npcs going away also DO affect lower ranks right now as many are and have been holding back because of the seemingly random limitation.

You get to the leaderboard in call of duty they don't take away your guns. they don't make you die easier. Games don't take things away from you because you play well/alot.

Also the less amount of TF's and toxics we get means that instead of just NPCing and building our own planets we will just start scanning more and taking more planets. I know I am one that knew I was going to pass and did anyways and its my own fault and all that jazz but at the same time if we don't complain about it nothing will ever be done. We have so far complained so much that one of the mods posted on a topic telling us it would be fixed. Maybe it was just to get us to shut up for a bit but if you say your going to do something please do it.

Now I would also like to point out how this seems to be the way of the game. High ranks out rank something and complain. It gets ignored then later when more get there it get brought up again and again. Then the lower ranking players come on and tell us to shut up that the devs are doing the best they can and it will get done. We normally ignore them and keep on complaining and then the devs come out with what ever we where asking for in some way shape or form. Then we are happy and go back to the game. A little later all those low ranks get said content and do they ever thank said high ranks for the content they enjoy??? No I don't think so. This happened countless times with NPC's in the past and will in the future. This has happened with bases, planets, legions, and so on. Some just minor issues and some not so much. So please if you don't like to read about it all do one simple thing. Don't click the link. These are issues that needs sorted and if we don't speak up it will never be sorted.
