HIGH RANK STUFF

 We would complain less if this was a task that was a hard fix that would require a lot of effort, but the simple fact of the matter is the coding required to change the limit on the Npc's is little more than changing the number 2200 to 9999 in the line of code, such a thing could be done in 15 minutes if Dan chose to do it. Yet we complain for months on end now and we here nothing If there is a reason do the players not deserve to know? and if there isn't why hasn't anything been done.

Also, I rank about once every 2-3 days. So idk about you but at that pace I should get to rank 2200 in about... at least 10 years if my math is correct. I predict there will be content by then.  Even if I increased that to once or twice a day, I still have a few years to get to the no content zone. Again, I think there will be content by then. Woah. I did not expect this many comment since my last post xD Anyways, maybe you didn't directly say that high ranked players shouldn't get their content, but if you're not for them, you're against them. Secondly, I didn't have a forums account a year ago so I couldn't have stood up for this Binaryman when he first brought it up  Maybe you wont be rank 2200 soon, but many people will so I think it is worth it to spend some time to address the issue. There's always stuff to do. Go around legion to legion, helping out new players. Start your own legion. Aim for the leaderboards. Reset your account. See how high of a level you can get.

and oh yeah, this is a COMPETETIVE game, i wanna be a high rank and compete with top players and all that #&$#, why should i be penalised for it and have my game enjoyment reduced?

This happened countless times with NPC's in the past and will in the future. This has happened with bases, planets, legions, and so on. Some just minor issues and some not so much. So please if you don't like to read about it all do one simple thing. Don't click the link. These are issues that needs sorted and if we don't speak up it will never be sorted. I have yet to lose anything over x5 in arti to anyone. Lost my share of toxics, maybe 5-10, and i think ive lost one good research... in over two years of playing. Threaten al you want about taking e veryone elses planets. But there honestly arent many people DOING the thefts you alude to. I do and I love it. But I play hide and seek with my nice ones. You can only crack 28k cloak so many times before you're stuck never doing it again. And with as often as I probe my planets. Its doubtful anyone will ever get them. (I know, famous last words lol). I can only hope that other people are doing the same with their planets. (My stolen mega colossals would indicate otherwise though) Basically. I play to keep my planets and make no qualms about stealing anything. Still waiting for these dreadful higher ranke with nothing but scan runs to fill their days with, to take something _________________  This is my dog, Icarium, It was a very windy day. Since I started ranking lots, I have noticed a gradual change in the difficulty of ranking. I'm only rank 683 right now, but I really cba sitting and clicking all day to find a few Terraformers. If my goal was to rank, then I'd give up playing.

how fast you can rank on auto-npc'ing varies on your connection/ship strength surely.
a rank of npc'ing on my portable phone network which i connect my computer to takes about an hour, cause every response takes just under a second, but on my home wifi network everything is instant all the time, i never even knew this game had a little blue loading bar until i moved out and only had my unlimited data plan+smartphone as a modem and trust me, ranking fast and then filling out your ranks is much better than slowly ranking up but making sure your ranks are full all the way. you can ask any of the most elite crew we have here in Ni (or eots for that matter, as shown above), its definately the way forward. |

also tomorrow im getting 100 meg fibre optic at last, so my only limitations will be server response time and my computer (4g ram and i7 processor)
 when i get my energy up, think how fast i could power rank mwahaha. |
