Dan you need to add a new system that allows the players to transfer their resources to another base.

If a player is forced to leave a base they should be able to take their CTP and EM with them.

And if in doing so lowers the base lv so be it.

But seeing there is no way to have a hostile takeover on a base it is not right that others can boot you out of a resource you helped build. No matter the reason for being booted they should not benefit from your loss here.

So I suggest that you’re entitled to 50% of your contribution back if you are forced to leave a base. If you leave voluntary then that’s your choice and you get nothing.

Would destroy SEVERAL bases. Would result in the strongest players becoming even more untouchable. Low ranks would only be able to maintain really small bases. And think of someone like Namlak, who builds bases for breakfast, this idea would destroy each of these bases.

No it would not. Reread the post. He chose to do this, and if he left by choice he forfeits the resources.
This is only to protect those that have been kick from a base that have a large investment into the base.

you guys got screwed over and that sucks. But this is just stupid. you give to the base building as a team. It's some thing you GIVE to the legion! It no longer is yours. It's the legions.

Look at it this way i invest into a stock, I exspect return for that investment. If the stock crashes we all lose. If you force me out i get paid.

The legion is not a stock option its a team effort. You Donate to a cause some thing bigger then your self! If you want to be like this then you could argue that all the AP you get from the base is your Stock. How dose that work for you. you pay nrg , tech and EM in to it and for that you get AP back. I think it's a lame way to look at it but if this is a greed thing your going on then think of it like this it may make you feel better. But for the rest of us or at least people like me. We will just give to out base and buld it up for the team.

Mate I have donated too many bases and do not want any of it back.
I am only looking out so others do not get screwed out of years of hard work for one man that lost his mind. People change so you cannot say pick a better leader, others have falling outs, legions change policies. So the players being booted out of legions that are in the top 10% of donating get screwed because one person decides to change the way they want to play.
But just drop it I do not care either way.

Chris24markey, I see your point, and I would agree with you were it not for the fact that you donate to a base and know you'll not get any of it back.

This idea has been suggested once or twice before, after The Dysonian Implosion, but it's too flawed and exploitable to be put into practice, if it was given the go-ahead (which I doubt it won't. See my first point, above).

Looking at some of your other posts around the forum, you have hard feeling directed towards me. I'd like to let you know that this isn't the case with me. It's just an overall bad idea.

You do realize this Kinda thing will do much more harm then good. Think about how it would be if EVERY one had the nrg, tech and EM taken away from the base. or how that would efect legions if they have a change of hart. If you not sure if you want to give to the base don't do it. Also Just cause some one abuses the system dose not mean it has to change. There're people out there who have multi acounts and the play get the Gama crystalizer , Seed and metlas use it on there mian acounts or sell them then reset to do it again. Taking the items away from the missions to they cant be abused will do more harm then good. like in this case yes it sucks you git screwed over. but doing what you ask is not the way to go.

so how do you plan on getting energy back out of a base??

Because if say i decide i want to spend my time and energy on a jog, then go for jog, then after decide i didnt want to go for a jog and want the energy i just used for it back.......... well you can see right here how stupid that is hey

Building a base isnt just about banking the resources, it is spent, as in gone, can not be taken back out, the fact you think it can be is pretty silly in my eyes

dumb ars I never said it was not gone, but in real life you get booted out of a club, ok your options take your ball and go home, go make your own, or come back with a larger crew and take what's yours

Here you have no recourse for being able to take what you helped build because one man decides to change how the world runs.


Drop it already, I was merely only suggesting a way to not lose such a big investment on CTP and EM never said a thing about energy.
