Could anyone kindly offer me some tips/advice on seeking out those Titancore proxy npcs?
I had trouble locating any of them, despite having 2k scans.
I wonder what am I missing?

how many NPC have you gone through in your effort? those are uncommon, so could be as few as one in hundreds if your luck is against you.

i lost count. i managed to grab 8 of them so far.
Used about ~16k energy ... encountered 5 TO troop carriers while searching for them.
Do I need higher scans to better locate them?

Locating Kalvium asteroids for Mylarai mission seems easier with higher scans.... i wonder if the same teory applies?

As long as your Scan is equal to or greater than the Cloak value on a given NPC, it will be in the mix for you to find. After that it just comes down to churning through multitudes of NPCs until the RNG draws their number. Excess scan has no effect on finding "better" NPCs.

I'm in the middle of it right now.
I dare say they are appearing at less than a 1% (1in100) for me.
I've given up on finishing the mission fast (unlike other missions which NPC's appeared easily).
my energy is in 13K and I'm in the ranks 900's so it's easy for me to rank just doing NPC's. It discouraging how rare these NPC's are.
I'm confident I'll have it completed by the end of May'13

If the missions were quick and easy you would have nothing to do? Seems counter productive imo.
