Instead of only being able to use one transfuser on a planet, why not make it so using a second transfuser would CHANGE the effect on the planet?

Shiny New Dyson
Transfuser: Smaller moons
Dislike small moons?
Second transfuser: Planetary Rings!

Each of them would still be random with the same chance of occuring EXCEPT you couldn't receive the same benefit as you already had. E.G. Small moons wouldn't transfuse into small moons.

You wouldn't be obtaining a second effect, you would simply be replacing the one you had to begin with.

Well, if it worked this way, all one of my Dysons (that being the mission Dyson because RNG has forsaken me) would have rings. But to answer your question of "Why Not...?" Because more than a few players would give it a "-1" on the grounds that players with a disposable income would receive an undue benefit.

I've been waiting for a Anti-Transfuser that destroys a Transfused effect.

As far as paying players having an advantage I would simply recommend implementing a new NPC that offers it at an equally small chance rate as a QSE or RSL Memory Implant. Something rare but not unobtainable.

Then even if someone has a ton of planets with Rings they could've taken the time to grind it out and earn it through the game or used GP to shortcut and save time.

I'm all for it. I'm all for the reality transfuser removal too. I just happen to be in the minority. Most players can't stand the thought of someone buying what they themselves cannot afford. Just like I can't stand the thought that players are out there scanning natural Dysons - something I apparently cannot do.

The question is: would the change be controllable or random?
I'd favor random but exclude effects that it was "changed from". (either or previous or just the current, I don't care, I'm not gonna use XD)

only if it was for Mission planets only. and you had to keep the second chance.
But i think , rifts , mission exotc and mission Dysion should not have had small moons in the gambel . because there cash planets.

This makes no sense at all. Discover small moons, make them disappear and make rings appear? Lol no.

Why not just double/triple the price of one and eliminate all the possible effects except Rings?

+1 to this idea/suggestion.

You might be really unlucky and get endlessly switching Small/Large moons and no rings after ten transfusers. You might get rings after the first transfuser.
