So with the new Dark Void Engine you can get a 1 hour def boost per mod. limit 4 per ship. But it seems like with them and I think GP mods. they can be installed. then uninstalled instaling more . so if u have 10 Dark Void Engine u can cycle the mods getting 10 hours of buffing. was this intentional or a programming error ? I think this will also work with any GP mod aswell . theres a limit on how many u can instill but uninstalled mods dont count for it. it would come with more upkeep and a repire cost. Dan did u intend for this or was it a mistake and do you care of we do this??

the ability is greyed out when uninstalled so it still takes up space which is annoying and imo not worth the time to uninstall the mods every hour. I have enough engines to have the ability running 24/7 but not worth the effort.

Or cycle through as many pacts as you have to actually fight multiple bases in a row..

Can a moderator please comment on this?
I've scrapped Dark Void Engines thinking this is clearly an exploit, but would appreciate confirmation one way or the other.

Personally, I don't see it as any different than multiple sets of Composite Rays or Sha'din Security Terminals. If you earned the excess modules... Whether Webguydan sees it this way, I can't say. Remember my domain of authority (and Custos's for that matter) is the Forums, not the game.

I think it could just be seen as a option for those who don't buy GP, so they have a way to essentially replenish charges on the modules but having to work for it

Let me rephrase then, could webguydan please comment on whether or not the ability to install up to twenty Dark Void Engines was intentional. Thanks.

This is fine and intended. There can only be one effect active at a time anyway.

You of all people should understand the dangers of a misphrased phrase.... Good to hear Dan, now if you could bump up the spawn rate a little....

Dark Void Engine (Uses Left: 18) + a full days worth on the ship. I cringe when I get them, especially I rarely even use them.
