If a blockade shows up on an enemy planet, invading it should allow us to kill the blockade instead on it disappearing on invasion. More money for dan as well when people pay for abandoning if the planet isn't very good.

+1 i invaded a planet thinking i could kill it and it vanished...They should be still there after an invasion to kill or be part of the invasion process or something.

only issue with this, is if the old owner has already beat on some of the blockade. how easy is it to transfer that status to your BT. im all for this, dont get me wrong, but im totally ignorant on the programming side. there are atleast a dozen planets i would steal for just the blockades. TO ships and kulgoxs are worth stealing a bad planet, IMO.

Or you could do if the planet was invaded with the blockade the blockade could just go back to 100% stable.

I think making it go back to 100% health would be best.

Most likely the "owner" of the blockade is just an entry in the database (just the same as the owner of the planet) so it'd only be changing 1 number in exactly the same way as the owner of the planet.

What would happen with Elite NPCs such as a T.O. Hyperseeker? You have to be a certain rank to see those.

+1 A planet with a blockade shouldn't lose the entity there when you steal it. The critter doesnt run away when you attack it, so why would it run away cause you stole the planet it was on?!
"Oh Noes! a Colossal Galaxy Destroyer is coming to steal me Lucky Charms! I'll make a wormhole and get away!"
Silly i know, But so is an entity running away from a planetary invade when it won't run away when you fire at it, but you get the point.

Lol this is true, it'd likely start attacking whatever ship comes near it's playpen, so I'd like to see the npc's attack/defense added to the planet in the same way a defender's attack/defense gets added (only for the duration of the attack though, not added till it's defeated)

It could be like: "Oh, whatever, let them beat up the planet, I can still leech from it, who cares?"

+1 to this idea. I've got 5 inactive planets on scan with entities on them.

then the low rank player can get a high rank npc.. its not going to break the game. they can potentially get the legion mission rewards, so why not a single structure upgrade for one planet. or the base shield enhancer.. they still have to put the work in to drop it.

Agreed.
IC, It just makes sense.
From a gameplay standpoint, it provides a way for higher level players to get some of those upgrades that seem to become increasingly rare as you level. And as was mentioned earlier, if they steal a planet for the entity, and it sucks, they'll want to abandon it. This makes Dan more money from the GP purchases.
