Nice! It's great that Dans following through on this. Good call on making them anonymous.

It's only a matter of time until we decipher who you are. I suggest staying anonymous as possible to avoid detection.

The most obvious giveaway is one's tone of voice. I can't tell who you are. But I'm just saying this as a precautionary warning to avoid unnecessary drama.

I look forward to seeing more structure and direction on the forums.

I've owned and administered both IP.Board and phpBB forums off and on for several years. Galaxy Legion utilizes phpBB, so if any of our new mods need some help and Dan isn't around feel free to ask me and I'll help you with ACP related stuff.

Though hopefully you should catch on quickly enough that it isn't an issue for you as the phpBB ACP is very easy to navigate.

Gotta say... I'm liking the "new" Dan. The 0 disable issue already addressed, a new mod, an upcoming fix for the 2200 issue, plus other coming attractions...

Next request is for Dan to comment/joke around in a few topics in the galaxy pub, like he used to.

If anyone cares these are some of the things I'd like to see change:

I just want to see moderators that give a real damn about the community.

Honestly.

We have a great community. We just need some positive direction and we can build it stronger than ever.

what needs to change. Our forums need a shift to a positive outlet and a refuge from all this negativity that runs rampant on it.

We need strong leaders to rise up and form a positive flow of direction. Encouraging positive behavior and discouraging negative.

That's just the kind of stuff I'd like to see changed.

I'd assume, for the reason of being fair, that you cannot reveal your true identity?

I also feel that anyone who antagonized at all in this thread should be excluded from nomination for a moderator. As the only thing that thread displays is what not to do to help move things in a positive manner.
