not sure if this has been posted but probably has before or even if its possible i did look but couldnt see anything on it. requesting a round completion tab for stellar cartography mission clicking 1000 times for 100 purgers is time consuming and annoying especially when game is lagging now its even more annoying with less xp reward per click please can you do something for this and possibly temp flux mission ??

While I couldn't care less about ppl who auto rank. Dan specifically reduced the exp to prevent auto ranking on the mission. I don't think he'd do anything to make the process easier.....

exactly youre not able to auto rank off it anymore. wheres the harm in making it easier to complete im sure id spend more gp rechargeing energy if i could use the system faster other than gettting to 200 purgers and giving up ... just a thought ...or possibly a premium acc which would unlock a mission completion tab tedius enough npc'ing day in day out but your probably right dan wont entertain it doesnt hurt to ask though ..

please consider the known: #1: Dan does not like autoranking and already made the change on SC mission with aim to slow down autorankers. It does also increase the EM, which nows is around 375:1 CTP from original 1000:1 CTP #2: Please, do you wish to have his attention on "templ flux mission" too? I am afraid, altering it would not make anybody happy.
with all respect etc, what about being more realistic?

We should just do it for all the missions, you know. It is tedious, I'll agree with you, but you don't have to do the mission. Nobody is making you.

Both the EM increase and xp reduction are clear signs that Dan does not wish people to be using the purger mission to the extent they were/still are.
Making the mission require less clickc, whilst it wouldn't be making it any less EM intensive/any more xp productive, it would be counter intuitive, as Dan wishes to make it more time/resource consuming for players to do this particular mission.

I gotta agree with Kirk, here. Maybe not quite his reasoning, though. The way I look at things is, if you logon and click 100x for purgers, you'll have no energy and will likely just logoff right away. As a developer, I would think Dan would want people to be spending as much time as possible playing his game. If you have to do the clickclickclick "tedium" you are more likely to see something happening that will divert your attention to more "active" activities.

Even if it gave 1 exp per round, you can still autorank of it

with all respect etc, what about being more realistic? I DO hate when Dan nerf XP gain on Anomaly Control As for the OP suggestion : -1 For the reasons already explained. (too lazy to state them all again )

+1. ANything that allows the player to burn through energy faster makes them less likely to autorank, not more. If you're not bored senseless after 50 clicks, you can buy more energy from Dan. I've been playing for almost the entire life of this game and every month I have to remind myself that I still like it, because the megaclicking is getting obscene. Slowing clicking and requiring more clicking just serve to drive people away. Very few people can dedicate 2 hours a day to a game, and NPCing through 15,000+ energy at 5 per click takes about 3 hours... assuming you don't auto and begin the process again. Quite frankly, once you've completed a mission once, you should be able to just click a button and repeat the completion in one click.

Whilst that might hold true for missions, for NPC'ing, if there was a 1 click kill button for NPC's, it would most certainly allow the player to autorank to their hearts content, allowing people to outrank content/NPC's in weeks, rather than years.

Aside from reducing the strain on hardware and flesh, how would a 1click NPC kill button speed up Autoranking that much? Autoranking from NPCs requires killing hundred if not thousands of NPCs at the rate of about 10 seconds per NPC. If the button has a 3-5 second cool down, that would keep the pace even. Even if it didn't have a cool down and you were doing 1 NPC a second, so what? The people who autorank are already willing to waste half a day straight clicking. Part of their calculations are usually based upon energy regenerated while NPCing, which won't happen if they do it faster. Also, the higher you get, the harder it is to autolevel, since even if you dump 5 ship points into energy with each level, autoranking takes an average of 12-13. Also, your ship gets progressively weaker compared to other ships at your level since you can't farm prisoners and you can't waste ship points on tacticals. So the matched rank ships get tougher, the unmatched ones have damage caps, and your ship is becoming ever flimsier. Autoranking is boneheaded, especially since you loose some good NPCs at 2200. I've been slow ranking like crazy for 125 levels now to make up for stupidly plowing ahead when I was smaller. I'd actually like an artifact that allowed me to NPC without leveling, that would be nice.... if there was a 1 click.
