The regular Aegis Shield i dont know how much it adds to the planets defense but i think its 5k? very ineffective for todays standards i might say. i was thinking that every 500 ranks we get a new version of it that replaces the last. were it doubles EX: rank 500 acquired Aegis Shield 2.0 now adds 10k defense to planet rank 1k Aegis shield 3.0 20k defense. So on and so for that way players are able to defend their prize planets that are not currently invincible.

I don't think it should be exponential, but I like the idea. Maybe make it linear, like 5000(x), so it goes 5000, 10000, and then 15000... The numbers you mentioned rose too quickly :P

I propose making it that it DOESN'T stop production, meaning you can have production on the planet even if you have used it, i mean you can only get ONE. Most people have used theirs anyway, whether it was a waste or have it on a current planet i mean it's stupid, 5k def is nothing really on a planet with NO production (except for storage planets, but see we all cloak them so again it's useless), why defend a planet with no production?

And with the 2.0 if it makes it in the game, make it have 5k def plus +100% bonus to defense. (Again you would only get one 2.0)

Umm..Not all their planets will have this aegis its a one time user and im pretty sure most high ranks defend their planets very well unless they leave it defenseless for a reason

I'd support making it stronger, but NOT level based. IMO, it's meant to be a newbie helper item, it's irrelevant whether or not it provides a significant protection as compared to what you can put up w/o it. But the current effect does not provide a significant boost AT ALL, so it's kinda useless.

My proposal would be making the shield only able to be used on planets that have not been attacked in 1 week and then make it give invincibility for the duration.

PS: I've already used mine, so this won't affect me. Just my opinion on the matter.
