So Dan says there will be more battle market items to come this summer. I have some ideas for new items.

Blue Badges

Counter-Intelligence Headquarters Upgrade
Upgrades an existing Counter-Intelligence Nexus on your planet to a Counter-Intelligence Headquarters, doubling all its bonuses. The new structure will also provide a 5% research bonus. Requires 400 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 60 Blue Badges.

Tactical Restoration
Reinstalls up to 5 weapons or defense modules on your ship that have been deactivated by a Tactical Inner-Bypass. Requires 250 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 5 Blue Badges.

Silver Badges

Ultra-Seek Targeter Upgrade
Upgrades an existing Tetra-Seek Targeter on your ship to an Ultra-Seek Targeter, adding a 60 cloak bonus and unlocking an activated ability. Targeter Overcharge grants your ship a 5% base attack bonus for 1 hour with a 20 hour cooldown. Requires 750 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 32 Silver Badges.

BM150 Convoy Shuttle Upgrade
Upgrades an existing BM50 Convoy Shuttle on your ship to a BM150 Convoy Shuttle, adding a 150 hull bonus and unlocking an activated ability. Convoy Overcharge grants your ship a 5% base defense bonus for 1 hour with a 20 hour cooldown. Requires 800 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 40 Silver Badges.

HyperSurge Plexus Upgrade
Upgrades an existing Surge Plexus on your ship to a HyperSurge Plexus, adding a 100 defense bonus and unlocking an activated ability. Plexus overcharge grants a 5% npc attack bonus for 1 hour with a 20 hour cooldown. Requires 700 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 44 Silver Badges.

Tera-Coil Repulsor Upgrade
Upgrades an existing Mega-Coil Repulsor on your ship to a Tera-Coil Repulsor, adding a 60 cloak bonus and unlocking an activated ability. Tera-Coil Overcharge increases your npc defense by 5% for 1 hour with a 20 hour cooldown. The new module will also reduce the chance of being debuffed by an npc ability by 1%, to a minimum of 1%. Requires 600 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 42 Silver Badges.

Continuum Parser Upgrade
Upgrades an existing Continuum Parser on your ship to a Continuum Parser II, doubling its attack and cloak bonuses. Requires 350 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 14 Silver Badges.

Dark Badges

Quantum Accelerator Upgrade
Upgrades an existing Quantum Accelerator on your planet, increasing producion by 1 and cloak by 150. Requires 500 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 180 Dark Badges.

Composite Dualray Upgrade
Merges two existing Composite Rays of different type into a single weapon, combining their stats. The Composite Dualray will only take up 13 decks on your ship. Requires 500 Medal Points Earned.
Cost: 412 Dark Badges.

idk why he would create an anti-bypass :O

you could just install them manually ~

Maybe :

Firewall Algorithm (or something like that)
25 Blue Badges
Grants 20% bonus hacking defense (20% increase in scan+cloak in hacking)

Valuable Dark Badges? If you're an NPCer you'd have a ton of DBs... it's not even about the DBs, it's about the negative effect on the artifact itself... No one needs such a stupid artifact, slow ranker, freeze ranker, faster ranker, it won't matter.

Umm, no. I'm sure even you're not lazy enough to spend the badges on this when you could just reinstall the modules. -1

Doesn't the regular Tetra-Seek already do that? The cloak bonus seems unrelated to the module's function and bases are already difficult to defend from most battle groups out there. -1.

Would there be a Composite Tri-Cannon as well? I think the proposed mechanics would have to be changed so it's not so tedious.

Something like. Composite ray bond, upgrades an existing composite ray to unlock one of the other two bonuses, increasing attack by 80 and increasing the deckspace required by 3, can be used on each composite ray twice. (once for each ability)

what?, how wouldn't this help me?
1. i can pvp more without having to be worried about levelling
2. i can do missions without gaining allot of xp which also leads to levels
3. i can still do and get things that are reward with xp which is not wanted when slow ranking

No I don't because you stated that you want an artifact that reduces EXP specifically for mission and when I asked you how this artifact would help you doing mission, you made up other reasons that doesn't relate to the artifact. If you stated that you want an artifact that reduces EXP in general, then maybe I would've gotten what you're saying. But that's not the case.

any event, I think Dan would not want this - it would affect his rule regarding base donations tangentally...

e.g.

you have 5k energy and 2k e (or less to level)... now you'd do the max donation you could without leveling, then do a 2k donation and the rest of the E if not used somehow is gone...

with this device, it would let you do more donations...

Dan set the 2k cap for a reason... hence i don't think he'll like this


keep thinking though and maybe you'll find something Dan does like and will implement.

Not just for base donations, but EVERYONE would use this.
If its a short duration (15 mins): it screws up basses
If its a standard duration (2 hrs): above+its self sustaining and gets you even more NPC's per rank leading to even bigger scalling problems at high rank while pushing the 2200 barrier even farther off+missions are no longer such a ship killer (auto ranking the tath chain nets me 15% fewer levels HECKYA)+pvp ships stay lower with weaker ships
If its a ship module:above+it becomes a nobrainer choice for everyone who isn't just barely auto ranking.

There's room for ship improvements, but they cant be both required and increase scaling even farther.
