 Halcs no longer effective for passive players.

(15)Halcyon Trap
(15)Calming Amplifier
(15)Time Manipulator

Lasts 24hrs, cannot be removed via Containment missile.
Any aggressive action on the owners part removes effect from ship.

Guys this is just what I mean by the stupid chest pounding that many of the passive players want to avoid....

PvP is still a part of the game so why should those who do pvp have restrictions because people don't like getting disabled?

Because it does not say you have to Pvp just like it does not
say you have to complete missions in order to play.

I never said that everyone has to pvp, but why restrict the people who do because a few people complain about it?

And if you don't care about the pvp aspect of the game .. why do you care if your ship gets disabled while your offline? You're not losing production (with the exception of a couple of arti/research points) and as soon as you come back online you amp up halc up and you can continue being passive with no worry that your play time will in anyway be interfered with by those chestpounding pvp apes...

Are you serious? Think about that... who do people that PVP go for first? Laughable ship. I am for the most part a passive player, and yes I am getting tired of all of the red badge items that require people to disable more and more.

Player Kills 251
Deaths from Players 314
Non-Player Kills 8274
Missions Completed 1370
I have been playing for almost 3 years.

Also, I honestly think that it is pushing new player away from the game. As many players have decided to restart to focus on PVP and feed on the low level players.

I am not complaining, because I can deal with being disabled. But, what needs to be realized here is that there are may ways to play this game, PVP is one of them... And people who wish not to PVP, especially at low levels should be given the option not too, somehow.

Exactly why NOTHING needs to be changed, the idea of having calming amps that last 12-24 hours is ridiculous. If you don't like the fact you are getting disabled make your ship stronger! :mrgreen:

I know about these... All I am saying is that for a low level players they rarely get these though artifact shipments. So, they effectively have no defense and quit, if they don't want to PVP...

Because of all of the new crap that makes you fight now to make your ship better! If you want a more balanced game you should have the missions make your ship better for PVP and the PVPing make your ship better for mission and so on...
