Still can't decide. so indecisive lately. I ordered pad see ew and pad thai at dinner tonight!

sorry, didn't see this!

This is ALSO a really interesting idea. Kind of feels like it will stall my ship strength growth a little bit though.

I think for now, I'm going to hold off adding decks. Until I fully make up my mind.

I bumped up to 3k decks and it's been a lot easier personally, I've gotten a decent SS boost and spend much less time shuffling mods then when I sat at 2k and still maintain a reasonable cap

I agree with Wolfy here. The short term benefit of adding those decks will be overshadowed by the long-term loss in defensive efficiency. Very nice ship, keep it up!

3k decks is my personal stopping point, too.

update time!

So last week I got my last protean arsenal, and today I got my last auto-blaster. Yesterday I hit 30k APH. It's been a good week.

Changes since I last updated: Finished cloak research, strapped thetas onto my ship. Got my research contracts, though I'm not using them right now. Currently I'm researching base through UST. I got anubix too, weeeee.

40 days until I'll get my elder title.

So, stats, shall we?

My energy/rank ratio is 12.94. Just a few more engineers and I'll be at 13x energy to rank and I can go all TOs from here on out. Currently, I'm going to be working on the exotic mission so I can get the tactical remodulation ability. I'm going to focus now mainly on NPCs and some missions that need doin' (including select legion missions) as well as basing. I'll have 800 medal points soon- nearly finished with Deep Meditation and I'll have my Elder medal shortly.

Right now I'm pretty happy with my ship.

The new title is... sexual.

So, you're pretty much the same rank as me at this point. I am vastly superior on defense and energy, but you actually beat me considerably on attack. Also, your productions are just kinda way over mine. X.X

Decks, Shields, Hull are all roughly the same. In fact, the difference between our hulls is 9. Yeah, 9.

My max energy is something like 6400. the one that I copy/pasted is just what I run around with when I don't have all my reactors on.

I'm greatly annoyed my hull ends in a 4. I hate 4s.

And yeah. Been really pushing hard on production.

Me too!!

The solution to that is to get Kalviums :D

Hi Chia!

I'll get kalvium's eventually, but it doesn't really seem worth all the e for that mission just for an additional 5% hull on my 19k hull. When I have more brackets on my ship I'll make it a priority.

mini update: got the tactical remodulation ability this morning. About to finish the Genetarr race chain so I can become Genetarr for as long as it takes me to kill 500 assassins. Want that ship!

I've slowed my ranking this week (keeping it to one a day right now) to catch up on AP a little bit.

I made it a priority to finish up that Tac Remod mission, and finished Genetarr recently as well. Remod makes big NPC runs go so much smoother, especially when you hit a bunch of 10/12 mans in a row. I let 2 or 3 pile up and then remod them away and get back to killing.

Still haven't switched over to Genetarr though, ship design isn't to my tastes and I LOVE my Scruuge Design haha. Though I may switch to the Lazuli design when I get around to unlocking it, that one is awesome.

kalviums are nice to have, and on my list as well. But first I need to get Kronyn done to Ergospheres. Just wondering what is your AP/H at now, still the same? Mine is still going up since my update, added another 300 or so to it already and will keep adding as invasion timer allows.

You can keep your scruuge design up when you switch to Genetarr!

I plan on doing Lazuli through the Tevrazon devices or w/e they're called so I can have 6 NPC slots. Gearing up for holiday NPCing.

My APH is 30577 right now with two AP worlds bricked and waiting to be temp fluxed.

So if I read all this correctly, you've gone from about 11K AP at Rank 300 to 30K AP at Rank 500?? How did you do that?? I need to know so that I can do it too!! And I can tell you from experience, your ship is a tough nut to crack :D

a combination of ways.

one: I restructured my mission planets. They were really poorly built. Then I restructured all my ap planets. Anything that I wouldn't cry about losing went pure production. Everything was maxed as much as possible and cloaked so I could take all defense off.

two: I received a 22x gaia as a gift from a retiring player, as well as a 16x terra that I turned into a 22x gaia. I also scanned a few nice inactive arti planets, and had a few lucky invades.

three: trellith. the trellith resequencers and structural energizers were a HUGE reason for my increase in AP.

four: lots of invasions of terras. I currently have 34 terras probably only 1/4 of which were unoccupied when I found them.

five: the more AP you have, the more you can make ct lab artifacts so it's really a self fullfilling system of increasing AP.

six: NPCing. I've probably found around 40 or 50 terraformers in those two hundred ranks. They all go on my project planets that are fully cloaked.

So that's what I've been doing. Before rank 300 I didn't have a great grasp on how I wanted to build my planets, and I didn't scan much. Now I have a much better planet building style, and I scan a lot more.

Granted, everyone does things differently. This has just been my way :)

Also, is your IGN Swinephil? I don't recall running into you. next time, send me a comm!

So really it was help and luck. I wish I caught one of Armac's planets in time before he left. Didn't snatch a single one of his gifts :(

LOL. the help and lucky scans account for this much AP: 3719/hr. both of my lucky scan invades still have defense on them because they aren't fully cloaked.

And I didn't get any of Armac's planets before he left.
