You guys do realize that as soon as you click on Buy GP (or whatever that button says), it kicks you into the Facebook interface. Dan has no control over that.

Yes, but what we're asking for is the ability to send GP to a friend immediately after you buy it. There could be a two-minute interval where sending the GP is allowed.

Try not to compare GL with another game, especially if it's the basis for an idea. The fact that games deviate from one another makes them all unique.

But being able to gift purchased gp to others would be nice.

Let me put things another way.... Gifting GP would eliminate one way for Dan to catch hard-core multi-accounts. One person could then use the same credit card to finance multiple ships, whereas right now that would be a red flag. Games like BYM and Zyncrap are notorious for a plethora of multi-accounts.

What he says is basically like this :

Gifting not possible : When you have multi and want to buy GP for each account, you usually buy them from 1 credit card (can be tracked, with the name of the owner, etc.) This way if you buy GP for 2 or more accounts using the same credit card, Dan would suspect these accounts are multis.

When gifting is possible, you could buy ton of GPs on one account, and distribute it. (I think he thought you can transfer GPs between accounts)

Multi-abuse. Pretty much why this can't be implemented.

Dexter, it's only if you have recently bought it that you can send it. You cannot send the initial 5 GP.

I don't need to do that, I already know what you said. What I am saying is that if someone is willing to buy for two (possibly more) accounts, it's more money for Dan.
I see your point, however, and multis are why we cannot have nice things.

While I in general like the idea, I'm forced to agree with DF about the Multi abuse, so -0.5

Why would Dan care if a multi-account was using credit cards? Wouldn't that be "multi-profit" as well?
