I JUST got attacked for protecting a planet and the guy was able to disable me anyway. According to my log, the Halc went off first, then the Kri and the Omnicron trap.

Halcs don't work while you are defending a planet.
This is an intended game mechanic.

It's fair because people used to be able to make a planet immune to artifacts and then guard while halcd.
Made the planet invincible which was unfair.
