Hey Dan....

I am writing a simple little program that provides useful player calculations

Including:

calculating which planets can be upgraded, and sorting them to show which planets stand to gain the most, and the cost of the upgrade.

While the program is handy, it could use one very specific upgrade.... Data!

Players with a long list of planets have to spend a considerable amount of time entering the information into the program.

Sure would be nice if the data could be downloaded (Say in an Xml format) so my program could parse the download and get the info it needs.....

Of course, just raw data... as Planet Name, Size, Bonus's etc.... and only data specific to that player....
Other info my program uses (entered Manually) is rank, energy, EnergyLoss(relays), research level, PvP stats, etc....

Would you consider offering a data download?

Thx..

Rich

And get denied. Allowing any outside program (especially one from an "uncertified" source) to directly interact with the game data and/or mechanics opens the door for corruption and hacks.

Do it the old fashioned way and keep our servers secure.

I would love to see some way to export things even if there was no import. Being able to parse things across your planets all at once would be great.

Nope... Don't want or care to have a connection to my program... just a simple xml download I can put in a specified folder on my computer and have the program parse it for the info it needs....
