+1 to the idea of a planet starter pack

For the original idea, I think that 10 starter planets is too much. 3 starter planets would be sufficient. I would suggest:

3 random planets
1 mining (very large, and a random richness between rich and extremely rich)(volcanic planets)
1 research (A random size of Massive or Very Massive, and rich in production)(all gas planets)
1 artifact (A random size of large or very large and a random richness of rich to extremely rich)(either icy or desert)

for what reason do you feel that 10 is "too much" ? its not like its something that you can't get with afew days of playing, its ment to give new players a foot out the door,

Most new players today between the ranks of 1-50 end up colonizing planets that are going to cost them GP later if they continue to play, 10 planets gives them a good platform to start off on all the way up to rank 40, from there on they are on there own. Most new players quit between rank 10-30 from my experience starting up a trainer legion. The main reason they leave is due to their first planets being something like a very small abundant mining barren and they don't have GP to get rid of them later.
I was endlessly alerting out planets such as the ones I have suggested in this thread but only a few people got them and the people that got them stayed the others went inactive and were never seen again.
