Is there a way to get Governor by rank 50? And the idea is to abandon everything but the rift?

Minimum Governor would be rank 130.
You can have a rift at rank 50 though.

Nope, you can't get your Rift at Rank 50. From Dan's email to me when I wondered why The Rift Project had not yet appeared for me: Quote: Hi,
You are close. The mission will appear when you reach rank 60. Have a good weekend. As Dan said, it appeared at Rank 60.
