When I say incrementally I mean when its just before or just over 20k or 40k. I know this doesn't exactly apply to higher ranks as much but what do you think any way...

As we know the mass storage pod is 20k arti points - my question is, is it better to avoid the mass storage pod for sure by collecting your points before you could get one or two of them in a single shipment?

If you want to maximize prisoners then collecting before 20k AP is beneficial.

As for being beneficial prior to 40k? The chance is low enough overall to get 2 storage pods out of 40k that it probably makes little difference. For the record in my play time collecting at values above 40k i have yet to see an all storage pod pull or even one that the bulk of the ap was taken by them.

ICBLF put together a sim for it, and it turned out to not be that big of a deal past 20k (If you want to max prisoners just pull between 4k and 5k so you don't get any MSP or Continuum Beaconor) viewtopic.php?f=4&t=34633&hilit=artifact+pulls&start=20
