something reeeeallyy annoying
Want something really annoying huh? Hide planet are we?
Ghost Planet trap
Trap-planet
Duration 1 year
Triggers on: successful invasion
Effect: The owner and legion mate of the owner of this planet cannot see or target this planet in any way except by searching for it in the planet via typing the complete name of the planet for 24 hours. The name of the planet is removed from all possible locations(specifically, the which planet you are guarding part and the news feed.) No warning is given for the triggering of this trap nor will it show in the status section.
Note: the owner and legionmate in this case ofc means the new owner who conquered the planet.
And further annoyance:
Shock and Awe Missile:
Enemy planet artifact:
Effect: sends 20 "your planet is under attack" warning to the owner of the target planet, all planets are random planets owned by that player including(in no specific order location) the one this artifact is used on. For the next 3 minutes, no actions made onto the target planet will give any kind of additional warning.
Note: so basically, use this and while the defender(if online) will be aware that one of his planet is under attack, it's going to be a tad hard to know which one.
Feign Death Trap:
Player trap
Duration 1 week.
When your hull falls below 30% from player attack, make it appear as if you are disabled. You can be "raided", everything would appear as if you are raided except AP/MP amount is not actually changed. Mark of War can be placed on you except the attacker will receive the mark and energy back after 5 minutes(and progress not counted toward mission). No warning is given for trigger of this trap, if re-locked by being targeted again, the real un-disabled ship will be shown.
Zombies!
Enemy Planet
No warning or notice is given for the use of this artifact. The planet population of the target planet will display as current+1000 up to the maximum population amount for 10 minutes.
Note: basically, you can hit the planet and kill the population without the defender realizing that the population is dying(thou the attacker will also not be able to tell what the real population is)
Quadruple blind
Player Trap
Duration-1 week
Have a chance to trigger when attacked. When triggered, give this non-removable effect to both you and the attacker: for the next 10 minute, the amount of damage dealt cannot be seen by any party when attacking or attacked by ships affected by this effect.
Disinformation:
Enemy Player Artifact(well, not really just enemy, anyone but your self really)
Duration 4 hours, non-removable.
Effect: All text on the affected player will have the letters randomly jumbled on a sentence to sentence basis(except words with links, those are jumbled within the linked term only).
Fake Creds:
Enemy Player Artifact(again, not really enemy but...)
Duration 1 week, non-removable
This effect is not shown in status bar or anywhere else.
Target player earns 40% extra "fake cred" for every action he performs that earns cred. If his real cred would fall below 0 for a specific action, the action fails and this effect is removed. When this effect is removed or expires, all fake cred will disappear.
The bomb
Enemy Player Artifact(blah blah)
Duration infinite
The use of this WILL be shown every where possible.
Effect: when applies to the target, both you and the target receives one of two debuffs: real bomb or fake bomb(both displayed as "the bomb" and cannot be told apart in anyway except described below). Each player can only receive one bomb at the same time.
Real bomb(1% chance): can be removed with containment cage. If you perform any action that costs energy other than the use of artifacts and comm, this will trigger
Fake bomb(99% chance): Will be removed by any action that would trigger the real bomb, will trigger if containment cage is used.
Trigger: Your ship is disabled, all modules suffer 50% damage.
How to tell apart: If a player uses trap probe on you, the trap probe will reveal whether you have a real bomb or a fake bomb.
PS: IMO, all April Fool artifacts should have some possible theoretical value in certain situations, so not merely as a flat out prank. At the same time, it should be possible to circumvent provided the "receiver" of the prank have enough knowledge and skill of the game.
Except the last one, that one is made to be evil!
