First thing i want to say what a great game this is but it's due to make a few improvements. The one real headache i have is the ship interface when i use it. It was fine when i had only a few modules installed but now its just annoying. The ship interface needs updating every time you interact with it you lose your place in the module list and have to scroll back to that point. Add a search option to find a set module or damaged one plus add the option to repair modules before they crap out and cost loads to fix.

As we play more into the game it becomes apparent that we will need Galaxy Points for things but they are only gained by spending cash on the game or a lucky pull on the daily reward so i had this idea to get a few more free GP in to the game. Lets have a daily npc "the looter" that was a member of The Sha'din Coalition or The Lazuli Syndicate. It's stats match attackers and would have these drops GP 5=1% 3=5% 1=10% credits 1B=20% to 500M=50% with other credit amounts in between.

My legion has just opened up Legion Missions and the first thing we found was we had none of the parts to do some tasks and found it hard to get the levels of energy to get the completes on some tasks (yes we do know that some tasks give you arts to do them). Which got me thinking that we could do with a Legion Mission Shop to provide these items. So you would add a legion mission shop only reached from legion mission page under the details tab. Legion members could then buy items for that mission they need like energy boosts or Thetacron Mine Traps etc...they would have need to have in advance.

This is the sort of thing you could get i.e.
20 Thetacron Mine Traps = 130M credit
energy cube = 30XSilthion Energy Sac
etc....

Each shop would only show items needed for that mission.

Well the thing is, you do technically have the artifacts for every legion mission. Each and every task that needs artifacts either gives you the artifacts(like annex warnings/route markers), or you can obtain the artifacts by creating them via a mission(turning omicron traps into thetacron traps via Thetacron Yield Tests Mission).

As you have realized, the Legion Missions are energy intensive, however, at the same time, i would say that not all of the legion missions are meant for all ranks to complete. Honestly, i would be amazed if anyone below rank 600 was making attempts to complete any of the tasks which are missions, as well as certain npc tasks(Galakis npc's/T.O. Dropships) by themselves.

Realistically(and i say this from having spoken with many low ranked players in the likes of Imperium's and other legions that sport a large contingent of low ranked players), from the sounds of it, most of your legion should probably all look to do the easiest task possible, rather than try and split the distribution amongst the tasks, because if nobody is completing those other tasks, they're losing out and aren't really helping the legion to gain in any way.

I should state that by low ranked, i mean anyone below rank 600. If they're above rank 500 they can gamble on the big tasks, but most are such an energy drain, they would likely leave your legionmates crippled energy wise for days.

The idea of having a shop for the artifacts, may sound good for you, but the idea of these Legion Mission's is to give the higher ranks(900+) something to do as they steadily run out of regular missions. Making them easier to complete, or less energy intensive unfortunately for yourself, is something Dan won't consider, since they are meant to be a stall tactic to slow our ranking.

I agree that the module stuff needs work, that's a pain too.
But the others I do not agree. Legion Mission, as kirk pointed out, is not for everyone. I mean certainly you'd understand if rank 50 can't do them, right? So you would agree that there exists a soft cut off point somewhere, maybe it's just higher than what you think it is. There is nothing wrong with it.

As for GP, well I'd welcome free GP, I have to say the notion of "need" GP to be conceded. In any case, most GP stuff can be bought one way or another via in game means(i.e. CTP trade). The only clear exceptions are the project planets, ship mod/ally and very very few planet artifacts(thou the transaction of some planet arti can be rather complicated). Tbh, except the allies, the others you can live without in the long run, thou the project planets would be indeed nice to have.

I would love, however, an option to convert E cube to sacs, maybe to say an amount that would equal to about 50% of your current max energy worth(round down). There are times when I am very close to lvl but run out, it's quite annoying as a cube would incur a huge waste. This is more and more so as you lvl up and energy bar grow longer. But I don't quite see that happening anytime soon, the long asked for partial GP energy refill haven't even made the game, I do not think a free option of this sort in any way or form would come first.

Surprise!

Surprise... Surprise

I was going to point out that sub 600 is a pretty easy rank range to do these LMs, down to about rank 500.

Really?

If that's the case i really hope the only tasks they're completing are the NPC Tasks, because the rest are such a waste of energy(refills too i'd wager) at those ranks.

Also i'd love to know how many people sub-500 are capable of solo locking their own dropships(rather than taking the cheap seats) or killing galakis ships given those takes 400 energy each to kill, and that's at damage cap.

Obviously there will be exceptions, but i'd still say 80% of those below rank 600 would struggle to lock a dropship and not have to use 1k+ energy doing so.

I have never had to use a refill on a legion mission, but I mainly do the ones that drop the Ship Mod as the other rewards seem too meh. It is much easier to just auto-rank through and collect up Snipers, Galakis etc.

Cheap seats are the easy way for sub 500s to lock a dropship, but it honestly wouldn't shock me if some can do. A lot of the ships coming up are resets who have built their ships in a such a way as to not fall into the traps those that came before them made.
